First, Zappos is always a joy to buy from, great reviews, love the videos and their shipping and customer service are exceptional. Second, these shoes are crazy comfortable. I took them out of the box, put shoe trees in them and wore them the next day. Easily the most comfortable shoe in my closet. Oh, they look great too.

I own two of the Harding panel shoes and have had the same problem with both. After just a few weeks of wearing the shoes, the rubber sole becomes very hard and slippery rather than remaining soft and flexible. As a result, when walking across certain surfaces such as polished floors or stone floors, and any wet surface including indoor and outdoor surfaces, the shoes become very slippery. There does not need to be lots of moisture for the shoes to become slippery. As mentioned, it can occur even when the floor is not wet. I can now only wear the shoes when I know that I will not be walking much outside of my office, and I have had to purchase two different manufacturer's shoes to replace the two that I cannot wear when it rains. I strongly urge you to consider where the shoe will be worn. Although the shoes are relatively comfortable, the issue with the sole means that I will never purchase this style again.

Great shoe--like others, I had to go down in size, not up. I ended up a full size below my athletic shoe size. I think they recommend a larger size b/c the insole is well padded, but it didn't seem to make a difference for me. Now it fits great tho. Very comfortable and looks great too!

RUNS LARGE! I had to drop 2.5 sizes down (from 12 to 9.5) to get a good fit. Otherwise I'm very happy with the shoe!

This shoe runs 1 size too large. I wear a size 8 and it's 1 size bigger than every other size 8 shoe I own. The manufacturer saying they run smaller and to order .5 higher than normal is a giant load. Now I'm angry I have to return the shoe.
