According to the size of other Johnston and Murphy shoes these run a half size smaller.

Patent leather. Look ok. Have had for one year and are holding up just ok. Leather is cracking around the bend in the toes. Bought these because I couldn't afford another set of Bally's at the time, but it's so true that if you spend 3x as much, you'll get shoes that last more than 3x as long and they'll look and feel better while getting there.
Brands I'd also recommend: Bally, Lloyd

No! I have worn Johnston & Murphy for years. These are not comfortable. I had blisters on both feet! Also - they squeak!
