The shoe has a lot of comfort. The waterproof is not the best. Some moisture from the water will get in the shoe. I have had this shoe for four months, and it is falling apart. The heel is smashed and falling off; the padding by the back of the foot is coming out. Not good quality, but very comfortable.

Very comfortable shoes. Lasts 4 months tops. It says it is waterproof, but only for light rain. The insole padding is comfortable but peels off after 3-4 months. If you are a walker and you need dress shoes, do not get these.

I disagree with the other reviewers. I bought a pair of Ashmont's a year or two ago - and they are still comfortable, looking good, and going strong. Some of the best shoes I have ever owned. In fact, I just bought 2 new pair of Johnston and Murphy Headleys and 1 new pair of Ashmonts to replace my older pair. Tremendous.
