Best J&M shoe I've ever owned - the style can't be beat, and I feel like I'm wearing running shoes. I own at least 6 pairs of J&Ms, and these are by far the most comfortable. Can be worn casually or to an interview.

These are a nice change up from a dress shoe or a overly casual shoe. The look like an adult walking shoe. Comfortable and durable. Could be a little lighter in weight but it\'s not a drawback.

The Aragon II are great shoes. I had a pair of the original Aragon and they were not as well constructed as these. The back is more sturdy and just all around a sturdy but very comfortable shoe. I have them in both black/brown and black.

Well fitting shoe that's comfortable to wear all day and looks very sharp. The sole is hard and a bit slick when new, but grips better after a week or so of use. The shoes click when you walk, however, so if you work in an area with hard surfaces you won't be sneaking up on anyone.

Nice shoe, I finally sprung for a high quality shoe vs. the sub-$100 variety. Looks very good, very comfortable, sized accurately. Good shoe for casual work environments and can use out on the town too.

J&M shoes are worth every penny. My 4-5th pair in last five years. These are very comfy and supportive shoes. Good for everyday biz casual and for nightly casual dress. Good arch and soft leather. Only a day or two break-in time. Fit true to sizing.

I bought these in black (not at Zappos). They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Ever. They are as comfortable as running shoes. And they look good. Very professional. I wear them to the office (law firm). So, I am going to buy a pair in mahogany (from Zappos, of course).

I really like these. They aren\'t true to size though. The 10 felt more like a 12. I went down a full size and they are still a little big, but OK. They are holding up great and are comfortable. I wear them everyday.

Very comfortable and well made shoes. They go well with jeans or even dressed up a bit. They run narrow in size, so if you have even slightly wide feet you might want to consider getting the wide size.

This is my first J&M. When I saw the label, I was a skeptic. Surprisingly, this one ranks up there with comfort and style. For the price, it will supplement any wardrobe quite well. It's probably one of the more comfortable shoes in my closet with a price that wont break the bank.

These shoes look nice, but they are not made well. The description says "Italian uppers" but the shoes are made in India. The leather is poor quality and scuffs very easily. The shoes also squeak when walking. I am surprised Johnston & Murphy would put their brand name on these shoes.

Very comfortable shoes and there is no break in period. The soles are padded and it feels like walking on pillows.

I bought these shoes for my husband to replace an older pair of Kenneth Cole\'s. Although people stated that the shoes ran small, he found them to be true to size, despite having a wide foot. He reports that they are comfortable and breaking in easily. They also look good and were a good price. Thanks Zappos!

Love this shoe! A J&M winner! I am not a huge fan of all J&M shoes. Some of them are too heavy with soft soles and seem to be designed for salesmen who are on their feet all day. However this shoe is different. It's a sharp dress shoe with a hard yet grippy sole that sounds business-like when walking. Fantastic leather quality looks great with the Fortner Bal Cap design. When J&M gets it right (as they did with this shoe) it creates a winning shoe for a very reasonable price. I also like the J&M Stearns Y Moc, but this one has replaced the Y-Moc as my new favorite. My wife also loves them. Only caveat is that you might want to order a half size up.

The shoes were just as advertised. They are very comfortable. The size was good (I wear an 11 and I bought an 11). The width was a bit snug at first, but after a week they fit like an old glove. The soles look like they were built to last (1 piece construction) and I am happy with the workmanship. I will buy them again.

Nice shoe, durability is average. Comfortable shoe, great looks and the fit was great. I have worn them 3-4 days per week. I lost a tassel and some stitching has come undone in the first few months.

J&M isn't what it used to be. I have been a long time J&M customer and always thought the brand was synonymous with quality. In my case, that is no longer the case. The Deerfield II I just received is stiff and the finish/quality is not even close to what I've been accustomed to with J&M shoes. I will now pay the extra bucks and get Allen Edmonds dress shoes. I have original Deerfields, resoled many times, 15 years old, if you can believe that! Still look and fit great. On the other hand, Zappos is great!

Great shoe - Johnston & Murphy Fortner Medallion in black. These shoes look great and are a good blend between conservative and modern. They are extremely comfortable from the first try on. Only lost one star overall because the sole/tread looks plasticky and cheap (not leather sole/bottom). Overall great shoe.

Comfortable and stylish! I\'ve owned these shoes for over two years and they are still in great condition. Comfortable from the box, they required no break in. Uppers are extremely soft and supple and the insoles provide plenty of support for walking or standing. When these wear out I will definitely buy another pair.

These shoes are marvelous, if you like Italian Johnston & Murphy’s you will like these. The last does seem to run a bit narrow as a narrow Italian is like medium in this Indian made shoe. Zappos quickly and courteously made the exchange and went beyond what any vendor would have done face to face to make a customer happy. The shoe is comfortable and has drawn compliments from other J&M aficionados , I of course let them know about Zappos. I do find that it would be helpful if country of manufacturer would be handy as they all fit differently widthwise.
