Overall:

This is a nice looking shoe but a little stiff. The look is very professional but they have taken a very long time to break in. I can't say they are the most comfortable of shoes to do a lot of walking in. I probably won't buy another pair, but I wouldn't not recommend someone trying them out.

Great shoe, was on the tight side when I first put them on, thought that I may have the wrong size. However after wearing a while they conformed to my foot nicely and are most comfortable now.

Follow up to my August review. Fab looking shoes, but they are painful. My feet are flat, and these are not cutting the mustard. The miles I've put on them are not breaking them in. Will keep them and suffer, 'cause they look so good. My Rockports rock.

The Johnson Murphy Melton dress shoes are just great ! They are very high quality providing a perfect fit. I would definitely buy them again. The delivery speed was timely and the value is great.

I purchased the Johnson Murphy Breland Kiltie Tassel shoes from Zappos about two months ago. As usual, Zappos sent them overnight delivery without me even asking. The shoes fit perfectly, are comfortable, great looking. I highly recommend them to others looking for a great comfortable shoe sold by a Great Company at an unreal price. Zappos, the best shoe source on Earth!

Don\'t buy this shoe! Not sure how reviewers could say this is a comfortable shoe. After wearing them for a month, my heels hurt. Front is narrow as well. No real support. Look nice, but nowhere near worth the price.

Nice pair of dress shoes! These are my 3rd pair of Johnston & Murphy shoes and the 2nd that I purchased from Zappos (I got the Shuler Bike from Zappos). The Dobsons are pretty comfortable for dress shoes, although not quite as comfy as the Shuler Bike, which are a bit more casual looking. Also, I noticed that the back of the Dobson shoes are slighter shorter than the Shulers, such that at first it felt like they would slip off my heels. That feeling went away after a few days of wearing them. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase and would recommend them.

Best J&M shoe I've ever owned - the style can't be beat, and I feel like I'm wearing running shoes. I own at least 6 pairs of J&Ms, and these are by far the most comfortable. Can be worn casually or to an interview.

These are a nice change up from a dress shoe or an overly casual shoe. The look like an adult walking shoe. Comfortable and durable. Could be a little lighter in weight, but it’s not a drawback.

The Aragon II are great shoes. I had a pair of the original Aragon and they were not as well constructed as these. The back is more sturdy and just all around a sturdy but very comfortable shoe. I have them in both black/brown and black.

Well fitting shoe that's comfortable to wear all day and looks very sharp. The sole is hard and a bit slick when new, but grips better after a week or so of use. The shoes click when you walk, however, so if you work in an area with hard surfaces you won't be sneaking up on anyone.

Nice shoe, I finally sprung for a high quality shoe vs. the sub-$100 variety. Looks very good, very comfortable, sized accurately. Good shoe for casual work environments and can use out on the town too.

J&M shoes are worth every penny. My 4-5th pair in last five years. These are very comfy and supportive shoes. Good for everyday biz casual and for nightly casual dress. Good arch and soft leather. Only a day or two break-in time. Fit true to sizing.

I bought these in black (not at Zappos). They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Ever. They are as comfortable as running shoes. And they look good. Very professional. I wear them to the office (law firm). So, I am going to buy a pair in mahogany (from Zappos, of course).

I really like these. They aren\'t true to size though. The 10 felt more like a 12. I went down a full size and they are still a little big, but OK. They are holding up great and are comfortable. I wear them everyday.

Very comfortable and well made shoes. They go well with jeans or even dressed up a bit. They run narrow in size, so if you have even slightly wide feet you might want to consider getting the wide size.

This is my first J&M. When I saw the label, I was a skeptic. Surprisingly, this one ranks up there with comfort and style. For the price, it will supplement any wardrobe quite well. It's probably one of the more comfortable shoes in my closet with a price that wont break the bank.

These shoes look nice, but they are not made well. The description says "Italian uppers" but the shoes are made in India. The leather is poor quality and scuffs very easily. The shoes also squeak when walking. I am surprised Johnston & Murphy would put their brand name on these shoes.

I bought these shoes for my husband to replace an older pair of Kenneth Cole\'s. Although people stated that the shoes ran small, he found them to be true to size, despite having a wide foot. He reports that they are comfortable and breaking in easily. They also look good and were a good price. Thanks Zappos!

Love this shoe! A J&M winner! I am not a huge fan of all J&M shoes. Some of them are too heavy with soft soles and seem to be designed for salesmen who are on their feet all day. However this shoe is different. It's a sharp dress shoe with a hard yet grippy sole that sounds business-like when walking. Fantastic leather quality looks great with the Fortner Bal Cap design. When J&M gets it right (as they did with this shoe) it creates a winning shoe for a very reasonable price. I also like the J&M Stearns Y Moc, but this one has replaced the Y-Moc as my new favorite. My wife also loves them. Only caveat is that you might want to order a half size up.
