Beautifully designed and elegant shoe with many compliments. If the leather is not calf skin, it is soft enough to pass for it. For those with a high or athletic arch, the shoes need to be professionally stretched on the instep. Be sure to have it done by a professional cobbler or you could ruin a beautiful shoe. The instep problem probably arose from the shoes being manufactured in China and not Italy as the Zappos description states.

Was looking for a standard wingtip replacement and opted for these semi-brogue ankle-length bucks. These are sharp. And they look great with skinny denim or a suit. Very happy!
