I should have taken the reviews I read to heart. I love the design, the light weight, and structure of the bottom of the pan. It has the lifted coiled in a ring like the cup that keeps in the heat. I was mindful of the other reviews in keeping the heat low as the pan does get hot quickly. My eggs and sausage, while not burning, stuck to the pan and would not release. I did not bring a scrub pad with me, only a cloth. I tried using balled up aluminum foil which worked somewhat at getting the stuck food and burned area under the food off but it scratched the pan. I was at the campground sink a long time trying to get the pan clean. I am not sure if this pan can tolerate a SOS pad. Nothing to lose the next camping trip. I think I would be afraid to fry foods in this pan. Next time, since I am car camping, I may bring a cheap nonstick skillet and try that out, only problem is my small non-stick would tip off the burner due to the weight of the handle. I may just hold the non-stick over the flame to cook. I do like my Jetboil Flash. Great for when I was tired after hiking and wanted to boil water for tea or to rehydrate my food. It quickly boiled water and was easy to use and operate.
