I had high hopes for this coat - I really wanted it to be adorable! Well maybe for very tall skinny girls this would be cute, but wow was it awful on short round me. There's just way too much detail. The collar is gigantic, the gathered sleeve shoulder caps are super poofy, and the skirt is fluffy. The coat added about 6 inches of width to my body, as the fabric is slightly stiff and not drapey at all. The color is nice, not neon orange, more like tangerine. If it had maybe one of the above elements, instead of all three (plus the ruffled front, and the asymmetrical shoulder flap thing) it would be workable. But it would take a whole lotta attitude to pull off this mishmash of style elements.
