I have a high arch in my foot. Therefore I find it very difficult to find any sort of dressy heels that are comfortable. I had bought a black pair of shoes with sides open. I was very disappointed with these shoes. You could see my high arch through the sides of the shoe. After wearing Birkenstock shoes, sandals, and Finn shoes, and Dansko clogs I could not tolerate this shoe, even though it was cute. I saw the Susanna on the internet and it looked more stylish, esp for a heeled shoe. I take a 10 wide in a regular shoe and therefore take a 43 in the professional clog. So I found a site (actually not this one) that had a 43. I now have the clog and wear them at home to get use to them. I agree that you should get a bigger size than normal. I can wear a 41 in some of the Dansko styles but in a clog, such as these I need the 43. (I need the 43 for the width as well as the length.) The shoe should be able to slide up and down by the back of your heel when you walk. The 43 also fits my arch in the right place. If I would have tried my normal 41 it would not fit correctly. Well, to make a long story short, I donated my other shoes to Savers. I never wore them. Perhaps someone with a not so high arch, will find them adorable? The Susanna gives wonderful arch support and is extremely comfortable. I like a backless shoe that I can slip on and off easily. The strap on the top was a bit snug at first but I can see that it is already relaxing tension as I wear the shoe around the house. Some on the internet thought the shoe was too clunky. That was my first reaction too. Now after realizing the comfort is great, I think it is more like a 40's retro shoe. I will wear it with anything, but will tend to wear it as a more dressy shoe. I can wear it with socks or without in the summer. I feel it is a keeper!

A Really Great Boot - This boot is very comfortable and extremely stylish. I live in Europe where boots are everywhere. This boot is admired every time I wear it.

CUTE - These boots are so cute no matter what look you are going for. They are adorable with a dress with tight skinny leg jeans. They look better worn fully zipped because folded down looks pirate like. You can even wear with boot cut tucked in there is def enough space. What can I say, LOVE them.
