First of all, customer service on this was perfection. I ordered the wrong color and was worried I'd have to wait until the return processed to get the right one, but Live Help set me up with an immediate exchange and shipped a new one as soon as I contacted them. Zappos rules in this regard - they actually trust that the customer will do the right thing and will process and exchange and send it along without waiting to get the original back. It's not something I would abuse, but in this case I needed this piece for a wedding (had a hair disaster the week before it) and I just had to have it right away! Thanks, Zappos! About the hairpiece: this is synthetic hair, but it is very nice quality fiber; it is very silky and thick. It does have a nice wave to it right out of the box, and is not stick-straight, so you could flat-iron it if that's the look you want. This headband wig is unusual - if you've worn others you know that they generally have a full band that goes all the way around your head, or if it's a half-band like this it still has a wig cap you have to stuff your hair into. Not this one, all the hair is attached right to the band and the back is open - you just pop it on over your own hair and go. It's a little weird if, like me, your real hair is short, because that fact isn't covered up as well in the back, there's just hair hanging down over your real stuff, but it appears there's enough hair on the unit for it to be fairly inconspicuous. This might make the piece thin out faster due to shedding since it's not all the way around the head, but overall I feel the quality of the hair fiber and ease of just being able to pop it on without tucking your hair into a wig cap or full band make it worth it - all hairpieces wear out after a while anyway. I might just be careful not to wear this one too often and save it for those quick emergencies when I need to cover up my real hair fast (or, in this case, for a wedding where my newly butchered hair is not welcome). Also, the headband does not appear to be too tight and feels comfortable for wearing a reasonable amount of time.

It's fabulous - it looks and feels like real hair and noone can believe it's extensions. The headband does hurt your head after awhile but you can change it out for a fabric band - best money I have ever spent. Cuts "getting ready to go out time" by 75%.

Love this headband! Easy to use if you're having a bad hair day, want a dressier look or even starting to lose your hair- this headband is perfect! It's virtually undetectable, almost matches my real color and looks like real human hair. The band itself could be a little more comfortable, but for the price, this is a great product that anyone can use.
