This backpack is pretty much as big as it looks, I can fit 5 text-books, a laptop, pens, pencils, 2 calculators, and if I fold it just right a hoodie, in this backpack, although it does get a bit heavy after that. The handle system is not too bad but does take a bit of getting used to. The backpack is surprisingly comfortable in comparison to other packs I've used when fully loaded. I would certainly recommend this bag to prospective students with lots of stuff to carry around.

This is a great backpack. It nicely holds my 13-inch laptop, 5+ text books, and my gym clothes. It also has a pocket or pouch for everything. My only complaint is that the straps are a bit difficult to get on and off because they are connected to each other by a handle, which makes swinging the backpack on and off while on the move difficult.

I bought this backpack for my 14 year old son for Christmas. He did not want a backpack that was too large. It ended up that he absolutely loves this pack. It is the perfect size and has all the right compartments for him. He also loves the color.

I got this backpack On the rush, Took a short trip to Albuquerque New Mexico And I needed something Light and Portable. This backpack is big with lots of room and pockets. This backpack was big enough for My laptop And some weekend Clothes... So if you're looking for something big light with lots of room and lots of pockets I highly recommend this backpack ..I love Zappos Fast shipping too. I ordered this on a Monday and got it the next day...

This backpack is great! Even when I have got it loaded down, it does not strain my shoulders or back. There is enough space to carry my whole day's worth of stuff (I am talking 6:00 AM - 9:30 PM), and lots of pockets so everything has a particular space. The laptop pocket is a great place for my iPad. It is not the most attractive thing ever, but it is a backpack, I am not carrying it to any formal events or anything. When I do not fill it up, it is not too bulky on its own. It is a good choice for heavy-duty students. This is the first backpack I have owned that I could stick four textbooks into, put it on my back, and walk around without feeling like I am about to collapse.

The perfect backpack! After purchasing (from Zappos) 2 others (Patagonia/North Face). I found this one at an out of state store. Of course Zappos had it, and on sale. So, needless to say the other 3 backpacks (too small for my needs) were returned. This pack is very light, it has 2 big major compartments, and four other ones for different needs. This pack is perfect my Catalina Island trips. I will fit all of my clothes and my husband's too. I use it everyday to haul all of my stuff instead of using a tote bag that kept falling off my shoulders. Buy it. It is free!
