The pack quality is definitely worth the price, was comfortable for travel, the colors were well represented on the site. It is an adult lady size, worked well as a "purse" so I had free hands to handle two pieces of luggage.

I am very happy with my selection of the JanSport Watchtower backpack. I always carry a large DSLR camera and it is easy to take out and put away, and I still have room for other things.

I just got the Jansport Big Student bag just a few hours ago. I'm so pleased to get this bag. Brilliant colors and enough space and I hope this will last a long time because this is my first Jansport bag. It's amazing!

This Backpack is awesome! I love everything about it. I had another Jansport, it was smaller, and well, I'd put so much stuff in it and it would feel heavy. I put the same amount in this bag and I don't even feel it, the support is great. If this make is anything like the one I replaced with this one, I trust I won't need a new one for another 10 years! The JanSport Brand is pretty amazing, top quality.

I bought this backpack for my daughter to use for school. The small front compartment is perfect for pens, pencils and lunch money. The large main compartment holds her books, lunch and jacket. It's the perfect size for a student that doesn't have to carry too many books home. The pattern on the pack is great because you can color in the shapes with a marker to personalize it - a fun crafting activity to boot!

My teenage son needed a new backpack because his Swiss Gear Synergy Laptop Carrying Backpack broke in different places. My son has a 17.5 inch laptop that he carries around and it was just a bit too big for the Swiss Gear backpack (which seems sturdy) and eventually the backpack just fell apart. We researched and read the reviews here in Zappos about the Big Student and decided to try it. This is our first purchase from Zappos. We live in Hawaii and have limited places where we can buy backpacks in the middle of the school year. Being able to purchase online is just wonderful. We heard about Zappos from a colleague. Our order actually took quite a few days before Zappos was able to fill and get it shipped, but it was okay and the shipping took many a couple more days than if we were in the Mainland USA. When the Big Student backpack arrived, we took it out of the box and felt very dubiously about it. The backpack looked small, like a regular backpack. My son didn't even really want to try it but I urged him to try it anyway since it was here. Lo and behold! His 17.5 inch laptop went in so effortlessly. He could even choose between the very rear compartment and the compartment in front of that to store his laptop. All of us were stunned. He then put in all of his gear and like many reviews stated here -- everything fit! The amazing thing is, after he gets all of his gear in, the backpack still does not look big; it really looks 'regular.' He is very happy with his backpack, able to go to school without having to carry anything in his hands. We got it in black, his favorite color and it looks great. I've had the prior Jansport version of this bag for 6 1/2 years, and it has been great. I particularly appreciate the straps for using it as a backpack when I'm at an airport with both hands full with a suitcase and a golf bag. I think the pocket configuration is perfect for my uses. The big pocket holds a full size laptop (15"), charger and a lot of other bulky stuff. The other two pockets are very well thought out, too. I have to comment on the excellent handle. I love it! After 6 1/2 years, it's gotten a bit sticky, but still will expand and contract. The stickiness is becoming enough of an issue that I'm considering a new one of the same thing. I shopped and handled other brands recently, but I like the features and quality of this one far more. And its longevity is superb.

Overall this is a nice backback. I was, however, a little diappointed when I first got it because I did not realize that it was pre-faded. But otherwise it is a nice, sturdy, neutral backpack. The smaller pouch has several mini pockets inside of it, which I think will come in handy when I use the backpack for travel.

The back pack is large enough to hold everything needed for any school day. Perfectly functional and with a great warranty! Granted its not the most stylish, but its super functional! Can't beat the price or the free shipping!

This backpack is great quality. This style is the most amazing, especially for high school students. My daughter is the coolest kid in the 9th grade.

Backpack came just as it is advertised and as it looks on the website. Seems like it will last a long time and holds quite a bit of stuff! I'm able to fit my cell phone, Kindle, small sweater, wallet, sunglasses, keys and camera!

Great quality, very cute for school! The only thing I wish there were outside pockets for water bottle! Other than that I am very happy!

I bought this for my high school daughter. Very well made. She wanted something a little different from the usual Jansport you see on campus. This is the new cool! Very functional and, according to my daughter, is much more comfortable than her old Jansport.

It was a good buy. The material is corduroy. I didn't like that and the straps are hard to loosen but otherwise from that it's cool and most people don't have it.

Excellent product. It seems to me that the bag I purchased is much more durable than my other Jansport bag, which is the same type, different color. This company can only get better. Their products are simply awesome.

This backpack is awesome! It's indestructible and water resistant. I carry a large amount of books (senior year in college) and I never feel like it will break.

My teenage son needed a new backpack that was durable, stylish, and most importantly one that fit all of his books, binders and sports clothes/shoes. This one does fit all of his requirements! It's a bonus that it also fits his laptop. While it looks big when its full, it fits everything he needs, and he is more an thrilled that he doesn't need to take any extra bags with him on the already crowded bus. And I am happy that with jansports lifetime guarantee I won't need to worry about replacing it if it should malfunction.

I love this backpack. The main compartment is quite roomy, even with my laptop inside, which I carry with me almost everywhere. I love the design of the backpack in person, and it is very comfortable to wear, even with heavy loads which I frequently have as a student. Overall: excellent design, excellent functionality. I am very happy with my purchase.
