A native of Vietnam, Jane came to the United States as a student and graduated from Northeastern University in Boston. Subsequently, she moved to Los Angeles, where she graduated from the UCLA Program for Professional Interior Designers and pursued her love of design in that field.

The pictures don't do these bobby pins justice. The color is a little brighter, sort of like an opaque crystal. The pin itself is very high quality and hold hair very well. I have thin straight hair, so I have to use a ton of pins with updos. The butterfly very pretty and the combination of pins allows you to dress up your hair a little with minimal effort. I have used these pins alone to pin my hair back (straight and curled) and in combination with other hidden pins in an updo. All of this being said, these are pricey for what they are.

I wore these bobby pins only twice before they fell apart. The butterfly came unglued and just fell off into my soup at dinner. That was very embarrassing. I am very disappointed.
