I have always loved Jambu for my own use, so I tried these for my son. They are a little wider than usual in the toe-box but they are a standard medium width in the ankle-heel region. If your child needs a little extra wiggle room in the toes, or if your kiddo has slightly widish feet, these are a good option. Kiddos with narrow feet might not get the best fit. They have a nice grippy sole and breathable uppers. They have a toggle closure that is great if your kiddo can't tie yet, and fun even if they can. (You can buy extra replacements if these break.) My son loves these shoes. He says they are extra bouncy and are his favorites.

I purchased these because I love how different they look to everything there is available for children's. everything is so boring and seems to be the same every spring. So far both of my boys like them very much and it's really the only thing they want to wear. I am a fan I will continue to look for new styles in the near future.

The stitching on the inside of the shoe top pokes through socks (not just at bare feet as the other reviewer mentioned) - it just takes a few minutes of wearing the shoes before you realize that. My son wanted to keep these after trying them when they first arrived. However, the first time he actually wore them we only got as far as the car before we head to head back in and switch shoes. Then I tried them on because they are cute and I thought I might want to keep them for myself (we happen to wear the same size shoe at the moment), but it was just too painful. They are going back, thanks to Zappos' great customer service. Thanks Zappos!

I got these in two sizes and both my sons hated them for different reasons. The smaller one (5 yrs) said he hated the style. My older one said the stitching on the inside of the shoe rubbed against his skin and made it too painful to wear them barefoot (which was the main reason I got them b/c supposedly the lining is odor-proof). I'm returning them.
