These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. They are not meant to provide maximal support as they are minimal barefoot shoes that let your foot be as close to the ground as possible without going barefoot. I just got this color but have two others and have worn them in Mexico last year for two weeks and they still look brand new having gone through mud, rain, etc. They are quick to take off in the airport and not hold up the line. I do not know what the person was talking about the smell as mine just smelled like normal rubber bottomed shoes. I love them and need more colors! I got my usual size 6 and they fit like a glove.

These are incredibly comfortable shoes. I have two neuromas in my left foot and need shoes that are wide with support. These felt like walking on pillow slippers. Thankfully, there is no rubbing or irritation where the straps connect or on the toe/heel part of the shoe (a problem I encounter a lot with these type of slip on sneakers/shoes). They fit perfectly and are stylish (for what they are). Often wider shoes will make your feet look like platypus feet but these do not. I am excited to put summer miles on them!

Jambu is making shoes for me, a unique combination of features and functions. Haven't worn these outdoors yet so that's important but they pass many tests at home. I like feminine high heel shoes normally but also go barefoot hiking (no shoes at all) and dance barefoot. I needed shoes for hiking to protect my feet and cannot stand all hiking boots I've tried (heavy, boxed-in, unflexible). I've tried other major sports brands, which disappoint me in looks every time and all the other "barefoot" lines have either hurt my feet (instantly start rubbing my ankle starting blisters) or just don't feel great so I can't bring myself to pay for them. These shoes feel instantly great. They really aren't shoes; they're little slippers. I call them gloves for your feet. Isn't that what "barefoot" shoes should be? No other brand feels like that on me. Two sizes fit so that was a dilemma. Decided to go with the larger size because they fit my arches perfectly so I'll see how that works out. Love the velcro strap method. (One pair was flawed with two very different lengths, though.) As the market for specialized sports evolves, it's wonderful that prettier and more exacting shoes are being offered. I commend Jambu on creating a way better looking and feeling "barefoot" sports shoe. Will use for biking and hiking.

Cute style, but cheaply made with tons of defects. Not truly a "barefoot" style (does not have a 0mm heel to toe drop). It has a small heel that is very awkward and uncomfortable to walk in. Insole is soft and squishy, but comes with multiple defects such as the padding being crooked and lumpy, pieces of material falling out, faulty stitching and many other defects you see with cheap "Made in China" shoes. Also, they smell horrible, like they are dowsed in formaldehyde and other toxic chemicals. They are definitely not worth the high price tag. I'll stick with my minimal/barefoot Sanuks, Pumas and Merrells.

The first thing I have to say is that wearing these shoes is most certainly not like going barefoot. It rides low to the ground, and offers great support for a shoe so lightweight and flexible, but it definitely is not the same as roaming around barefoot. That said, as someone with sensitive feet prone to foot pain, I am very picky about my shoes. I hate most flats because of the total lack of support, and because any seams that are askew give me painful blisters and cuts. These, however, are super comfortable. They have become my go-to shoe for everyday use. I actually have 2 pairs. They breathe well, and even the soles stay surprisingly clean even after more than 1 month of roaming around in New York City. I do have a few minor issues. When my feet get a little sweaty, the memory footbed does tend to slide around inside the shoe (super annoying!), and can bunch up, needing readjustment. This can be an issue when putting the shoe on too. Also, the shoe will make your feet look bigger than they are. I thought it was my imagination, but I grabbed another pair of flats I had, and the difference is obvious. It's because of how widely the Jambu shoe is shaped as you approach the toe box. Finally, order a half size down. I wear a 9.5 in Nike, New Balance, 9 West, etc. I wear a 9 in these. Also, they're very slightly on the wide side (but that shouldn't be an issue because you can just tighten the straps to make the shoe more snug).

I have knee problems, and decided to try a barefoot shoe to see if that helped things. This shoe did! I've had minimal pain since switching over, and these shoes are super comfy, too!

I'm still debating whether to keep these. My first thought on putting them on is that it's like walking on cloud pillows. The insole is super soft. However, it is only attached with velcro at the heel, and when I take them off, it sticks to my foot and I have to re-insert it. Also, I personally prefer not to have straps all the way over the top of my foot, but they are adjustable on both sides, so that helps since I have a high arch. Knowing how quickly the velcro wears out on my kids' shoes, though, I am hesitant about buying a shoe that uses velcro on the straps, because I want shoes that will last a long time. They are stylish and comfortable; I'm just nervous they might not last long.

Have you ever walked on clouds? No, me neither until I put these shoes on! These have just enough room for your toes to spread out and yet the double straps allow for a great fit. The heal is soft, which is perfect to accommodate a rather large scar I have there which usually causes a great deal of pain when breaking in new shoes. Not the case with these! I have worn them to the beach and to church, they are just that versatile and good looking. I wear them with shorts, pants, skirts and leggings, and they always look great and wash up like new! Worth every penny, and I am saving up for another color. The only complaint I have is that the memory foam inserts are attached with only a small piece of Velcro in the middle. I think it would be better to place a piece of Velcro near the toe and heel ends so the insert doesn't pull out when you take the shoe off. I was also pleased that the packaging was so earth friendly. The box makes a perfect storage box for my kid's crayons and the biodegradable bags which hold the shoes are great to hold snacks in a purse. I am so pleased with this purchase I am saving for another pair. Maybe something red for dancing? Stop thinking about it; buy these shoes!

I work in a restaurant kitchen and wanted a pair of really comfortable shoes that would be good for the summer. I put the insoles that came with my Merrell Breeze shoes into these Jambus, and they gave them just the right amount of support while still being extremely flexible and comfortable. My regular size (8) fit great without the inserts, but I kept the 8 1/2's since I am wearing the inserts. These shoes stay comfortable after an entire day of being on my feet.

Overall I really like these shoes. They are a cute comfy alternative to flip flops as my summer go to shoe. The only reason these didn't get five stars for comfort too was the footbed sticks to my foot and comes out of the shoe when I take them off.

These are fabulous shoes. Great for hiking or water sports. Super comfy and look really cute on your foot. I usually wear a 9 but like my play shoes tight so I ordered 81/2. Perfect. You can kind of see through the mesh so your toes are showing but that is what makes them feel like you have nothing but slippers on! But something to consider if that aesthetic would bother you. Would buy every style in this brand if I could afford it!
