These fit the bill for a thicker black legging. They are very comfortable and have a smooth finish so wearing something fitted at top won't show lumps. However, they pill! I won't blame the pants entirely because it wouldn't have pilled if it weren't for my friction-inducing inner thigh fat. But within a half day of wear, there was pilling at the crotch area. Since the pants are black, it's not noticeable but it bugs me knowing that it's there. Otherwise, these pants are great. Thick and warm and nicely fitted. I'm 5'5 and got the regular length originally but they were too long. Petite fits perfectly. Thanks goodness for Zappos shipping/return policy!

I love these leggings. I have 3 pair in petite. (I am a JAG petite junkie though.) I find these true to size. I can wear something over the rear area or not. They are thick enough not to show my lovely cellulite through the fabric if I choose to be brave and wear something shorter. They have the pants feel with pockets in the back. Look cute with flats, Uggs, any kind of boot. Can go from Saturday cash to office to out. Oh and I have not mentioned the best of all, super comfy.
Brands I'd also recommend: Not Your Mothers Daughter, Mac & Jac, Lole, Natori
