These are very flattering and comfortable. No zippers and buttons to add bulk across the tummy. I was concerned about them being a pull-on style, but they are designed so well. They are nothing like elastic waist pull-on pants. I am 5'7" and 148 pounds. The size 10 fit quite well. I would say these shorts are true to size.

These shorts are so cute and comfortable. I was looking for shorts that zipped up the side so they didn't have the bulk of a fly and button, but these are better. They have enough stretch to pull up easily and don't bind around the waist. The pockets are in the perfect position. I ordered the size 16 in black pearl and they fit tighter than the size 14W I ordered in a different color, but I think they are a true size 16.
