I love the look and feel of these Jack Rogers. The pointed toe offers a sleek look, but they're not horribly elongated. The leather embellishment shows quality. You can't see it that well on the all-tan version, but the toe portion is more polished, closer to patent. They look like the high quality shoe they are. They felt a little snug when I first slid into them (just as all Jack Rogers do at first), but since they're all leather, I knew they'd mold to my foot. There is some padding in the footbed. Well, I planned to wear them all day (and I walk a lot), but I'm glad I took a backup pair because I had to take them off after a couple of hours. A few band aides might have helped since new leather on bare skin can lead to blisters pretty quickly, but I opted to switch to flats. Fit-wise these are the same as the fit of the Jack Rogers sandals. (for me, the size 10 is right in length but a little narrow at first, and my foot is always a little wider than the foot bed of the sandals.) I have these in tan, but also tried them in the tan with black tips. (Those were also gorgeous.) Excellent sale price too!
