I'm a HUGE wingtip fan and these are great! I really like that J. Shoes includes colored laces, it really amps up the style factor. You can dress these up, down, with pants, shorts...you name it! They are super versatile.

Very nice shoe although if I had looked a little more carefully at the pictures I might not have bought it. The sole is stitched with white thread, and the top of the sole is light brown and sticks out a bit more than a lot of shoes. So it is not a full-on grown man suit shoe. Perfectly fine with a more relaxed business look. The leather is thin; the tongue pushes back into the shoe when you put it on if you don't hold it. But a nice stylish shoe. I have walked to work, about twelve blocks, in them and they were just fine.

Beautiful design and craftsmanship (made in India), quality materials, runs a half-size large. Would be an awesome buy if priced lower.

First off, these are great shoes. I have been wearing them almost daily for about 1 month, and absolutely love them. For your understanding, my comparisons in fit, quality and style/dressiness will be using Allen Edmonds as a benchmark. The quality at this price is fantastic. Yes, there are better quality shoes, but they cost a lot more. Other shoes, that I have seen, of comparable quality usually cost more. The fit, for me personally, is also great. I usually wear a 13E, but I have had no issues with tightness, rubbing or difficulty donning and removing. They break in very quickly. The heel has enough padding that I can walk across the campus I work at (about .25 mile) multiple times without issue, including three flights of stairs. As a side note, I know a guy who commutes by foot/metro everyday from Brooklyn to Manhattan wearing the boot version of these, I think he's crazy, but they have held up for a year so far. The style is spot on for a semi-casual workplace or a dress-casual night out. The contrast laces are a really nice touch without being flashy (matching laces are included also). The leather takes on a lived-in look rather quickly, but hasn't degraded past an acceptable (read: desired) "distressed" look. This is a positive for me since that is what I was looking for and expecting in a more casual shoe. Minor scuffs rub out easily. These shoes are a steal as long as you're OK with the combination of casual style and leather soles. In fact, at this price, these are a steal pretty much no matter what. Comfortable, well built, dash of casual style at a great price.

Wonderful shoe, overall. It is versatile, able to be worn with a pair of jeans or with a suit. I recommend for someone looking for a "catch all" kind of dress shoe.

These are great shoes. Leather upper, leather sole, with a cloth lining. Nothing weird to report at all, no manufacturing defects or flaws or blemishes in the leather. They started out a little tight, but have broken in and are now incredibly comfortable. My only concern is that the upper leather seems a thin (as compared to my Allen Edmonds McTavish), so we'll see how they hold up over time.
