Nice shoe - but they run narrow - I love the look of this shoe and they're pretty comfortable. They definitely run narrow. I wear normal width and got wide based on another comment and they killed my feet the first time I tried to wear them. I'm thinking I just need to stretch them out and they'll be fine. Good heel size and the gold dresses them up a bit.

Handsome! Though I'm an average width, I ordered just one width bigger due to the reviews and it was the right call! This shoe, in cognac, is quite handsome and I love the chunky heel. Can't wait to wear this to work to dress up a boring brown skirt!

Great dress shoe - This shoe is very comfortable; although I'm glad I read the reviews before purchasing, because it definitely runs narrow. I normally wear a medium width in everything, however, in this shoe I ordered a wide width, and it fit. The look is classy-love the material and the gold accent on the heel.

I LOVED the look and style of this shoe, more so in person! However, my super skinny size 7 foot could not fill it out enough. It was a bit too big overall and a 6-1/2 would have been too short. Still, a very stylish shoe! Thanks to Zappos return policy, I was able to return them right away at no cost.

The J. Renee Mary shoes are fabulous! I normally wear a size 5 and have a narrow foot, but usually have to settle for something a little wider than it should be. The J. Renee does truly run narrow and I ordered a 5 1/2 based on other reviews. It is the perfect fit. They are a gorgeous, well made, and timeless shoe. They will never go out of style! P.S. - Zappos is the best on-line shopping experience ever. I don't shop anywhere else for shoes.

I'm very pleased with the shoe. I tend to have a wide foot, so I was pleased when I saw this shoe could be ordered in W. The shoe is pretty true to size. This is a sleek professional looking shoe that I can pair with slacks and skirts for work. Fairly comfortable for all day wear. I like to wear without a hose and have no trouble with this shoe. I would definitely recommend it.

If you're looking for a dressy, professional shoe with a bit of an edge, this is the pair. The faux lizard print is set off nicely by the gold rim at the top of the heel, sexy in an understated way. Elegant. Shoe is comfortable on the foot overall, but is a bit narrow at the toe. Heel height is perfect for standing and walking for long periods of time (I teach).

For months I have been looking for a pair of square toe dress shoes and I found them at Zappos! They fit like a glove and are very comfortable. I ordered a size 8 (which is my usual size) and they fit perfectly. I don't care for the gold strip on the back, but considering the price and the way the shoes fit, I can live with it. I hope they will consider making the same style shoe without the gold strip. Love these shoes!
