I'm disappointed in this shoe. It's too wide and clunky on my foot and has a scratchy tab on medial aspect that persistently rubs against my ankle: usually love J-41 shoes, but I'm returning this pair.
Brands I'd also recommend: J-41 is a favorite brand of mine

There's no doubt that these shoes are very cute. Unfortunately, these otherwise comfortable heels have one flaw that caused me to return them. The front-most strap rubbed uncomfortably on my pinky toe as I wore them around the house. The foot bed and heel height weren't too much for me, a newbie when it comes to heels. If the front-most strap were lined with some kind of soft, flannel-like material, they would have been keepers.

While I love J-41 shoes and always wear them out, these shoes have the weirdest fit! They were all bunchy on the top and the side strap totally cut into my pinky toe. Ouch.

I love the look of these shoes, but I always seem to have an issue with the J-41 brand. They are tight across the front and pinch my little toes. More often I purchase the Jambu brand. They are comfortable from the start and never require a "break in" period. They look identical in the build, but there is definitely a difference.

I disagree with other reviewers. I felt these shoes were totally comfortable. My feet melted into them. I had no problems with the straps in the toe area. I feel the back strap is just a tad loose on one side, and am worried it might loosen more over time and start falling down. But I am too in love with the shoes otherwise, so I am going to try them out, and hope for the best. The style and gunmetal color are great, and will go with pants, skirts, and shorts.

These shoes where made for my feet. The most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I wear a size six and they are true to size. The strap moves a little but does not bother my feet. I can wear these shoes to work all day and still feel comfy after work.
