I am a Golf Course Superintendent and expect alot out of my boots. I have had a pair of these boots for 1-1/2 years, wear them everyday and they are still as good as the day I bought them. Keep my feet dry and are very comfortable.

I've been wearing Irish setters for years I was looking for a new pair of Countrysider shoes. When I saw the prices I flipped. My last pair wasn't that much money, and to me that price is outrageous.

Roomy through the front half, lots of room for toes. Surprising traction. So far it s completely waterproof. I work outdoors and these have been a very good buy. I would buy again.

The best most durable stylish work boot I have ever owned in 30 years, period. These will give me years of service because they are quality made by Red Wing for Irish Setter.. Better than Rockport, Timberland, and every other casual work boot I have ever owned...

This excellent boot is made with high quality materials and leather and is comfortable to wear, but a little heavy. I got these for all weather work and I am very happy with these boots, but I wouldn\'t recommend these boots for casual wear after hours.

After several Zappos purchases and returns I'm finally keeping some shoes! I'm not completely convinced that these Chukkas are worth the price, especially since they're made out of kangaroo. That said they are very well made, surprisingly light and comfortable. I've been wearing GBX for years and have grown accustomed to a bigger boot style. While these aren't as "big" as the GBXs they are a nice compromise compared to the smaller Timberland or Dr Marten style of boot. Gore-Tex lining can make the feet a little sweatier than normal, but there will be no leaching of sweat into the leather. All in all I'm happy with my purchase.

Great Boot! I got a pair of Countrysiders for Christmas and was initially weary of how stiff they were. It turns out that after about four weeks of wearing them I couldn't be more pleased. The wrap-around tongue can rub at the fold, but I put a carpenter's wood clamp on it in a position that worked and it fixed the problem. They are incredibly light. The kangaroo hide is fantastic. I am a developer and they are the perfect boot for me. Very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Outstanding shoe - The overall quality is outstanding. I received several compliments the first time I wore them. A little stiff at first but the more the wear them the more they are loosening up. I prefer a shoe like this to be stiffer at first and then break in over time that way they will hold their shape better. I have always been overly satisfied with any Red Wing product. Zappos.com service was outstanding. I told a co-worker that there is no reason to ever buy shoes from a store again.

This is the first time I have ordered shoes from online. I liked Zappos policy of being able to return free. So I got the boots and wore them around the house for a couple of days. At first, they felt tight through the ball of my foot. In a few days the boots conformed to my foot and broke in nicely. They are very comfortable and my feet stay dry. The only problem I have found is that they are difficult to keep tied. No matter how tight I make the bow, it will work its way loose. To me, it seems like the material the laces are made from is the problem. I am hoping that will get better with a time. I would give 5 stars for an overall rating if the laces would stay tied.
