I love these shoes! I have been using F Lite220s to work out in for a few years, but they did not offer enough grip for mud/trail runs. While they have been great for mud runs (and they wash out great) what has been the bigger surprise is how much I love them for so many other activities. I blew out my baseball cleats one day, and was fortunate enough to have these in the car, so I threw them on and finished the game in them. Not only did they offer more traction than my original cleat, but their lightness and comfort has made them my new cleats. They have also been great for hiking and off-roading. I only have two small complaints: The nubs tend to wear out a little quicker than I would like, especially if they are worn on concrete/asphalt. But the added traction makes them worthwhile. And I wish they came in more colors. Overall, if you are used to minimalist shoes and are looking for something with a little more traction, I would highly recommend these!

I really love these trail sneakers! The tread grabs onto all surfaces and enables a non-slip on wet and dry surfaces. The laces hold nicely and don't loosen up while running. Overall a great purchase and I would definitely recommend them!

I have to tell you these x-talon 212 shoes, when I took these out of the box and put them on wow these shoes are very comfortable, lots and lots of traction, well belt, no need to break in, to much snow to try them outside but will give them a workout when snow is not as deep love these shoes. Also bought the Salomon Speedcross 3 cs the same time these shoes are also very good shoes and also the people at Zappos are great! I can answer any question you have, fast service, this is my new go to store very satisfied.
I'd also recommend: salomon speedcross 3 cs

I love these shoes! This is my second pair and my first pair survived for about 3 years--running 10-35 miles a week. The outside never wore out but the inside material finally gave way. This is a neutral shoe and allows your foot to do the job it is uniquely designed to do.

I love this shoe! I have other inov-8 shoes used for crossfit and shorter runs on the road but needed some "trail running shoes." Once again, inov-8 delivered! Great grip that throws the mud. Very comfortable. Best part is, Zappos got them to me in less than 2 days with regular shipping.
I'd also recommend: Merril
