I love these shoes! The first pair that I ordered were 1/2 size too small, even though I read the other reviews that claimed they were true to size. They are comfortable, super minimalist, lightweight. I would not recommend them for trail running, the sole is thin. They are perfect for lifting, spinning, and running on pavement.

I love these shoes. They are lite but yet feeling stable and comfortable. Feel great when running. At first, I thought it was too small when I tried them on, but when I get to run, it feels amazing. Also they are eye catching too. Got a lot of compliments. Love Inov-8 always. Don't miss!

In a word... zero! As in zero drop, zero support, zero cushioning. These shoes beg the question... what are shoes? These particular shoes are somewhere between socks with laces and grippy tread and traditional minimalist shoes. Out of the box I took them on a barefoot 4½mile run and I was limping the next three days from calf pain. That serves me right, I was running in Asics Noosa 7s, but in Mizuno Mushas and Brooks PureConnect before that (so I am not coming from a traditional running shoe background, more minimal, but not true zero drop). I had some hotspots but one on the outside of my right ankle did not go away, in fact it became painfully inflamed and visibly infected. Oh well, I hate to take a pair of expensive two week old shoes and have at them with a pair of scissors but I did what I had to do and clipped about a centimeter of material around the outside top lace hole which was digging into my ankle. Voilà, much better. Now that I have had the shoes for about three weeks, they have formed to my feet and I can wear them barefoot again. My furthest run in them has been 6½ miles and I am getting fatigued due to lack of support/cushioning but I feel these shoes are making my legs (calves in particular) stronger. So far it has been all on pavement, I would not trust these on a rooty, rocky trail as the soles are tough but incredibly thin. Ultra lightweight and flexible, these shoes redefine minimal. Watch out though, these can cause a lot of pain, possibly even injury, to the uninitiated.
