These shoes are incredible! They are absolutely so comfortable out of the box that you won't believe it! I can't believe how light they are and how comfortable the soles are. I just hate to take them off. Decided to order another style from this brand because they are so great. I have difficult feet and therefore not many shoes fit without hurting, but this brand seems to work. It really is true you get what you pay for. I wanted something waterproof and yet protective and light, and also high around my ankles that seem to always be wobbling out of the right place. These do all of that and more.
Brands I'd also recommend: Vasque, north face

Love these! I also own the leather Merrill hiking boots but wanted something more breathable for hiking fourteeners. I love these so much that I wear them all the time, even to walk the dogs. They are incredibly lightweight with just enough cushion on the heels for hiking. I didn't even blister!
