I needed to quit buying cheap socks - I work offshore and I've been very unhappy with the quality of boots available these days. My last hitch out, my feet were very unhappy. I shopped online and found some boots. Chippewa #25227, Zappos did not have this model. (I've bought boots here in the past, but I really wanted this model.) I also needed some new socks, I decided to buy these. I've been wearing these for 3 weeks and my feet haven't felt this good in a very long time. It only took 2 days to throw my old socks away. I ordered 6 more pair f/ Zappos. I work on a small ship, steel deck 12 hours a day w/ steel-toe boots... very good choice, very good service f/ Zappos... I'm not sure how much wear I'll get from these socks. I hope a long time, time will tell.
Brands I'd also recommend: Chippewa #25227...

No Blisters - I have tried quite a few different combinations of socks, liner socks, and tape. The best liner sock I have ever used has been the Injinji. I was worried after reading reviews about their durability but have had no issues since starting to use them having done 3 15mi, several 10mi, and one 20 mi hike.

Blisters Be Gone! I wore the Coolmax double-layer socks for years to run marathons and then developed a problem with my little toe sliding under the toe next to it, causing blisters on the little toe. I tried the Injinji wool version and it solved this problem. I just ran the Bataan Death March 26.2 Miler at White Sands, New Mexico and had no trouble of any kind wearing the Injinjis. It took a few runs to get used to wearing 'gloves' on my feet, but I'll always run in them now.

Best. Sock. Ever! It took about ten minutes to get used to these socks. My feet feel refreshed after a day of work. My feet weren't smelly and soggy after a 44 mile hike thru the San Rafael Wilderness. I have bought three pairs to replace my normal tube sock stock. I am a full convert! Worth the investment.

After about 65 years of foot trouble, I've discovered toe socks. There can be a problem with unraveling with other brands, since there are so many seams on the toes. These are the best in quality that I've found. The thinner ones are even better. My poor ole feet love them. Once it warms up, I'll wear them with my five fingers. Some feet--or maybe all feet-- were not meant for shoes!

For some reason, I have trouble fitting the fourth toe of the right foot (it is tight at the base). Maybe it is my foot that's peculiar, but I haven't had the problem with other brands.
