This is a gigantic bag...which I like. It's Incase quality...which I also like. My only complaint is how uncomfortable it is (killed my neck), and the fact that it lacks a carrying handle. It has a wonderfully padded laptop compartment. I don't like the zipper closure, and I actually think it's a bit over padded, but the material is soft as a baby's bottom....so your laptop will be protected. A few other interior compartments are lined with the same soft material. I found that one held my laptop power cable quite nicely, one held my manuals quite nicely...and they were both well padded with soft material. I found the exterior pocket to be to small. It's nice that this bag has a cross strap, but rather than using D-Rings on the bag, material/loops are sewn in. I'm not sure how well that would last. I like the black bag. The other color is to Dorothy and the Wizard for me. The inside is shiny, and when you lift the flap it has two nice size(d) pockets (not soft lined...just nylon). I do like that everything is under one flap. In the end, I returned the bag. For the money, it needs to be perfect.
I thought it'd be bigger, but apart from that it has great comfort, fixed design and style. Very satisfied with this purchase. Highly recommend!

I am very satisfied with this bag. However, it is definitely tailored for a specific user. I originally ordered Incase's messenger bag and was dissatisfied with the laptop pocket, the lack of separated storage, and the fit. I decided to splurge on this do-it-all bag. The one-handed tightening mechanism is brilliant. it makes adjusting the comfort of the bag, even while biking, very easy. There is a ton of space in this bag allowing me to keep a kindle, iPad, and 15" Macbook in separate fur-lined sections and still have enough room for a weekend's worth of clothes, or a full picnic, or a cocker spaniel. There s a lot of room. The straps were very comfortable, the best I have ever tried. The water resistance is good, and the materials are thick, sturdy, and seem to be weather-coated. Even though it is in the Zappos picture, there is no cell phone case on the strap. Additionally, there is a third strap that forms a triangle across your midsection, but I found it to be laughingly ineffective at keeping the bag sturdy. The bag does this on its own, and the mini-strap is a bit chafing. The buckles for the lid are glued on, rather than sewn. However, they do not bear any weight, so I doubt I'll have an issue with one falling off. Additionally, this bag may be too big for the average student, but I am not sure if that is really a con. It does not look too big in style on me, but I am 6'2". The computer pocket is designed for a 17" Macbook Pro, but I tested it out on my brother's 11" Macbook Air and my own 15" Macbook Pro and it is flat enough and padded enough that there is no jostling so it works great for smaller laptops.
I wasn't super impressed by this product. There was room left over inside next to my Macbook Pro. Maybe it would fit better on a regular Macbook, but the Pro is a tad smaller and there was definitely room left over. So, I'm returning it.However, it is waterproof, which is great, and the pocket fits a considerable amount.Really, it depends on your priorities. It wasn't right for me, but it could be for you.
A great bag for your camera and select additional gear in compartments. Tall and narrow, a somewhat unusual shape, but low-key and inconspicuous. Sits comfortably on the shoulders. No room for books or papers of any size. Note: resizing internal compartments is limited because 'female' velcro is only in certain places.
Nice compact bag that forces you to think twice about what you want to bring. It's got great lines and has the minimal look and feel I was interested in.I've had the bag for about a month and so far so good. The materials feel kind of cheap but it seems to be holding up ok. I realized I was paying for style, not bullet-proof durability on this purchase. The only thing to be aware of is if you stash an extra t-shirt into the laptop compartment it will be covered in faux fleece lint when you pull it out.
Perfect backpack. I was carrying a Timbuk2 Messenger bag and was getting tired of the lack of weight distribution on just a single shoulder. This pack has a slim profile, great style, and it's very comfortable. I was worried about how much I'd have to leave behind once I switched to this pack from the messenger bag, but everything fit! It's deceptively able to carry quite a large amount of gear.

This is the best work bag I've ever had. It's exactly the right size to hold binders and redwelds, and it also has a padded laptop sleeve built in to the back panel. My only mild displeasure stems from the velcro, which does its job, but loudly. That being said, this bag is fantastic.
The faux fur inside the sleeve is so soft, wish some of my clothes were lined with this stuff. This sleeve stretches just enough to fit around, so it's not loose in any way. I will probably add a short handle to one end since my laptop is heavy and I'm constantly pulling it in and out of my other bag. It's padded just enough to be protective and not too bulky.
This backpack is awesome! I gave it as a Christmas present to my boyfriend who has a Macbook Pro, an iPad, and whatever else, and he absolutely loves it! Not to mention I ordered it at 10:30pm the night before Christmas Eve and received it by 1:00pm the next day. I love Zappos!
I was actually buying this backpack for a Christmas present and I have no regrets of doing so. The backpaack arrived earlier than I had expected. I had a great experience, Zappos has excellent people that provide great customer service! I will most definitely be coming back to buy more. Become a Zappos VIP! you wont regret it!
I found this backpack to be very long proportionally. It also had several design features I would change: the vertical zipper on the front is a little annoying (I see the newer models have horizontal ones). There is a convenient pouch for keys on the bottom located -- not so logically -- on the right side of the bag (since most of the population is right handed, it would make more sense to have this on the left). I also felt that the shoulder straps were a little too hard. It was uncomfortable to move my arms. All in all, not bad but not great, and probably not worth the price.
