This is the second year that we have purchased these shoes. They are not stiff and have a flexible sole which means they are comfortable immediately. Normally, my son objects to having to dress in "church" clothes and shoes, but we have never had an issue with these shoes. He wears them without fuss, which is a testimony unto itself. We will definitely be buying these again next year in a bigger size. When you find something that works, you stick with it!

A great looking shoe, however it does run large. I got this in the cordovan and also the Kenneth Cole Pen and Paper in black, both in a 3-1/2. The Hush Puppies were about a half size larger, I thought I was sent the wrong size! My son also has narrow feet, and these were a little too roomy inside. I think I\'d need innersoles if I were to get a size 3.

Really hard to find boys' dress shoes in wide sizes. These look and fit great. Based on how often my little guys chooses to wear them, I'm assuming they are also very comfortable. Highly recommend.

It is very hard to find wide shoes. These shoes are both comfortable and stylish. My son loves them! No more problems trying to get him to wear dress shoes.

My son needed a pair of dress shoes pretty quickly. We didn't want to spend a lot of money as he would more than likely wear them a few times before he outgrew them. Zappos got these to us very fast, they fit great, they look great and he likes them!

I ordered these shoes for my son to wear as part of his school uniform. They are really great. They are soft and have a rubber bottom, which for school is perfect. Some loafers are stiff and need to be broken in, but not these. It\'s not easy finding kids loafers so having them sent from Zappos saved me a lot of time and aggravation. I will continue to purchase these same ones knowing how well they worked out.\r\n\r\n

These are great shoes. I bought a few different pairs for my daughter, because they are required for school. She said this pair was the most comfortable (and she complains readily when her shoes are anything but comfortable). Because this type of shoe is so sturdy/inflexible, I thought she would have to wear them an hour or so each day for many days before school started to "break them in." However, from the first day she put them on she has not had any problems with them.

My 5-year-old needed dress shoes for his new school and these looked great. Since it's a brand we know, we took the leap. They look and are dressy, but as loafers, they also made for easy on and off. They are comfortable for him and also have rubber soles so he doesn't need to remember he has dress shoes on when he's running through the play ground!

My 10 yr old picked these out for himself; he needed dress shoes for church and other occasions. He loves them! I also ordered them in an 11 wide for my 4 yr old, and they fit well. The wide is a true wide; his forefoot is broad and we have bought some wides he cannot get his foot in. These shoes are comfortable, at least for several hours. They have not worn them longer than that yet.

This pair of penny loafers was for my grandson. He liked the look and says are comfortable after wearing all day at school. I thought they were worth the price and would buy Hush Puppies again. They did seem about half a size larger than marked.

Great School Shoe -
My 8 year old son wears these to school daily with his school uniform. Unlike other shoes we have tried in the past, these shoes are very rugged and don't scuff easily. He's been wearing them for 2 months now and they still look great.

A perfect fit -
With two young kids, shoe shopping can be a chore. I bought these shoes for my son, they fit perfectly and are so darn cute. My son has a "wide" foot and I figured these would be as true to a real size than some other shoes. Easier to fit than European shoes and for him, usually in gym shoes...the classic easy to put on ...are great.
