A great kid's dress shoe! After fruitless searching of local stores for boy's dress shoes, I ordered this shoe for my son. I received them about 36 hours after ordering them! My son says they are very comfortable. They look great and are well made. They seem to be true to size. I would certainly order these again.

Just What I Expected - This is a great shoe. Haven't been able to find too many Hush Puppies anymore and was glad to find them here. They've always been of exceptional high quality and durability. I will continue to purchase Hush Puppies shoes from Zappos.com.

Too small! My son is a tiny guy with narrow feet. I purchased 1/2 over his size so they would last for school and the shoes were too tight on his feet. The length was fine but the shoes left marks on the tops of his feet. Comfortable looking shoe but didn't work for us.

Not for an active child! My son only wore these twice, and large areas of the cheap black laminate-type covering on the toes has been rubbed off. These aren\'t leather underneath, it\'s a fuzzy grey material that can\'t be polished. These were a complete waste. I should have paid more and purchased real leather shoes for him.

Purchased for my 12 year old for an everyday uniform shoe. He likes them okay and his custom orthotics fit into them well (the original inserts remove easily). As anticipated, the "pleather" is wearing off the tip of the shoes after a few weeks. Even though leather shoes won't do this, I didn't want to pay extra for leather when I know my son will trash them just as quickly as these. I ordered the HP "Matthew" style as well. The "Matthew" definitely runs larger all over than the Dylan, and is probably better if your son has a wide, large foot. I think these are overpriced for a non-leather shoe.

My son is picky about shoes, and he liked these--they were comfortable, and hey, no complaints which is all I can hope for from a kid who only wears athletic shoes.

I was not happy at all with this shoe. It rubbed a place on my son's heels and they have not "broken in" very well either. Also, there are scuff marks on the toes of both shoes and he's only worn them a few times to church. So it's not like he was playing or anything. Just to church then home. They were exactly the style I was looking for and I thought Hush Puppies was a good brand. I was fooled.

Simple, attractive, comfortable fit (even on the first wear) and reasonably affordable. A good dress-shoe option for weddings, church, etc.

I am a woman with small feet. I am on my feet all day long. I purchased these shoes to wear with my casual-dress pants. I love them. I don't usually purchase boys youth shoes so I can't tell you much about how the size felt according to what they were marked. These shoes are very comfortable and I am pleased with my purchase.

My son loves these shoes. They are the right length and he's not overweight but we need a show horn to get his heel in easily. But that's a feature he loves actually!

The Hush Puppies Kids Dylan Shoes are durable and are able to stand up to the wear and tear of young boys. The shoelaces are sturdy and able to stay tied all through the day.

This is the second school year in a row that we have bought this product through Zappos. They are sturdy and good looking for active boys. Zappos even rush ordered them for us to make sure we had them the first day of school. Very happy and will use this site again.

This shoe is way overpriced. I could have purchased another brand for the same price that is better quality. The shoe is comfortable for my kids to wear to school but they wear out to soon. Shoe strings shredded on second day of wear and the color of the shoe on the toe area was completely rubbed off. Polishing them won't even cover the scuffs. Will not buy this brand of shoe again. You'll actually save money buying a higher quality shoe because now I have to buy another pair of school shoes!

Though the foot bed is well padded the rest of the interior is not. The tongue is devoid of any padding. If anything there may be too much padding on the foot bed, spongy.
