Not for an active child! My son only wore these twice, and large areas of the cheap black laminate-type covering on the toes has been rubbed off. These aren\'t leather underneath, it\'s a fuzzy grey material that can\'t be polished. These were a complete waste. I should have paid more and purchased real leather shoes for him.

These are great, durable dress shoes for my eight-year-old boy. They fit true to size. Heel kind of rubbed a bit the first wear, so we doubled up socks until they were "broken in". Would definitely buy again when he grows out of them.

Nice Everyday Shoes - I bought these shoes for my son (10) and he really liked them. He started using it with his school uniform, but now he uses these shoes everyday and not just with school uniform. He also uses it with jeans or khakis.

Too small! My son is a tiny guy with narrow feet. I purchased 1/2 over his size so they would last for school and the shoes were too tight on his feet. The length was fine but the shoes left marks on the tops of his feet. Comfortable looking shoe but didn't work for us.

Hush Puppies Kids Dylan - My son likes these shoes, says they are very comfortable. Good as dress up shoes or a step above slip on vans and seem very sturdy. Great price.

A great kid's dress shoe! After fruitless searching of local stores for boy's dress shoes, I ordered this shoe for my son. I received them about 36 hours after ordering them! My son says they are very comfortable. They look great and are well made. They seem to be true to size. I would certainly order these again.

Classic Hush Puppy - Reduced to a 4 star rating only because the shoe is NOT a non-marking shoe as claimed! Large black streak marks are left on floors with minimal activity. This was disappointing because the shoe was purchased strictly for a dance class which required non marking soles. The overall quality, fit, and look remain the same as the classic Hush Puppy from 30 years ago. If you are looking for a simple, comfortable and handsome shoe at a fair price, then this shoe is fine. If black marks are totally unacceptable, then choice another shoe.
