Too small - Ordered these in both 2 and 3 wide - my daughter couldn't even get her foot halfway in. She has wide feet - but ordering a wide usually is fine. She is size 2 and the 3 wide mad no difference at all. They looked cute, but was afraid to keep moving up in size - clearly they are made snug.

My daughter has a high arch and measures a size 4 medium on one foot and is between a medium and wide width on the other. I ordered a 4.5 wide in this shoe. My daughter could not get either foot through the opening of the shoe. This shoe is very narrow.

So, I had to write a review about these shoes because of the other negative reviews. My daughter wore these for two years in a row. She loves these shoes. I would not say my daughter's feet are wide or narrow. Just average and the sizing seems true to size for us. She loves these shoes and refuses to wear anything else!

my 8yr old daughter attends private school that requires specific types\/colors of shoes to be worn. She has a very narrow foot that eliminates most of the approved styles. This loafer is fabulous the fit is perfect, and looks great with her uniform or jeans. A classic style! Zappos service is quick and a bargain compared to other sites. Way to go Zappos you have a new customer for life!

This style did not appeal to my 8 year old. She has a wide foot and average width heel. The shoe fit both across the foot and the heel. However, the shoe was too short. I advise ordering a half size bigger.

Classic loafer available in a true wide width to fit my daughter's hard-to-fit feet. Be forewarned, these are real leather and a little stiff at first. My daughter did need to break them in a little.

These shoes are stylish and fit my girl's wide feet perfectly (width option is available). The soles are flexible and good quality stitching is evident around the shoe. My only suggestion is that they should have made these shoes in black or navy blue patent leather.

My daughter loves these shoes. The leather is breathable and soft. These lasted longer than her Stride Rite shoes. They are perfect for school. I just wish they had arch support.
Brands I'd also recommend: Merrell, Keen, Geox
