A wonderful lightweight and good looking shoe - I bought these shoes for my father who can no longer tie his own shoes. I was really just aiming for convenience with the velcro closure but found that the shoe was also a light as a feather with a very up-to-date styling. My dad just kept thanking me and saying how wonderful the shoes felt. Thanks to Zappos for carrying this model of Hush Puppies shoes. They were worth every penny. Also your shipping during the holiday rush was absolutely exceptional. I had the shoes in two days. I am totally impressed!

Impressive - My husband is limited in being able to bend down to tie shoes and these have been a true godsend to him. He is also very particular in how his shoes look and these shoes are just great looking and easy to get on.

handsome and comfortable - This shoe is just right...it looks and feels good on the foot..it seems to be engineered for the big man with big feet because it supports the foot well...the only thing that would make it absolutely perfect is having half sizes available beyond 13. Weakness - The top of the shoe held up well. When wearing these shoe work related. I found the a weakness in the ball of the shoe. It would be nice if you could beef up the sole though that area.

Hush Puppies's Are The Best - My husband wears a 15E shoe. With his feet/ankle problems it's impossible to find shoes that he can wear without pain. Dr. Scholl's discontinued making his shoe size. He went into a panic. It's the only shoes he could wear. So, I ordered the Hush Puppies Gil. We hit the jack pot. The shoes fit perfectly. They where comfortalbe and stylish. The shoes were very light and fairly comfortable for new shoes, however after several hours on my feet it developed a pressure point on my big toe. I think with continued use this will diminish.

I ordered this shoe for my husband who had to be fitted with a brace for a medical condition called Drop-foot. He normally wears a size 13, but with this shoe I had to order a 14 to accommodate the brace. He says these shoes are lightweight and he loves them. Liked the 1st pair so much I got a 2nd - I have a wide and somewhat odd shaped foot and have great difficulty finding shoes that are comfortable. The Gil is the most comfortable shoe I have purchased in many years. I wear one pair for around the house and outside work and wear the other pair for going in to town. Definitely a 5-star shoe, in my opinion.

Ugly but comfortable - These are some really nice fitting shoes. I work at a Country Club and am on my feet for 13 hours straight. These shoes have the support I need. Sadly, as with most shoes size 15 they are fairly unattractive. Comfort and an affordable price made them worth the purchase.

Comfy shoes - My husband loves this shoe, in fact it's his third pair. He wears orthodics and the velcro closure is great for that. Even the podiarist thought they were great.

Super Comfort - These shoes are fantastic, if you can get past the ugly forefoot. They have held up very well. I like them so well I am willing to pay full price and consider myself lucky to find them at all.
