They looked good out of the box. Scuffed already with the softer sides. Needed something for work searching. light to moderate use. Feel nothing under the arch, almost feel like tipping toward where the support would be if it were there. Am not a real fan of plastic soles. nothing like the feel of robber or its variations.

Will have to be careful while wearing so do not scuff, soft leather does not stand up so well. Break in should not be hard because of the leather's suppleness. Width feels a bit smaller than might be normal, but not that much. Wear just might stretch them a bit to solve that. I needed something new to wear to job interviews and chose these. I chose this sole because the design looked good. Will have to see if it works in wet weather as it is some sort of plastic.

I bought these shoes for my boyfriend, as they have a comfortable but slightly dressier look than his usual tennis shoes. But when he tried them on, and stood in them, he could feel the pattern of the tread on the soles of the shoes clear through to his feet! He immediately hated that. They also felt at least 1/2 size smaller than the 13's he normally buys. Overall, I would not recommend these shoes be purchased via internet...if you insist on buying them, go somewhere that has the actual shoes in stock and TRY THEM ON!!

The Hush Puppy company made a fundamental error in judgment designing this shoe. These shoes are made in Thailand, where the people in Thailand must have very small feet. If you're looking for a great looking shoe that is also comfortable, I'm afraid you're going to have to look elsewhere, as these shoes will take a very LONG time to break in before they feel comfortable. Bottom line, don't waste your money with this shoe and get something similar designed by Rockport, as all of the Rockports I have are extremely comfortable. I'm sad to say I can't say that with these shoes.
