I was so excited to have found these at Zappos! I had purchased a bikini top and could not find a bottom to match. So I checked out Zappos, as I always seem to find exactly what I am looking for and to my surprise the board shorts matched exactly. The fit is perfect, true to size and they are very becoming to the figure. Thank you Zappos for another fantastic find!
Brands I'd also recommend: what ever your style or color, try them all!

I'm a size 4, but am extremely pear-shaped so I ordered a size 7 in these shorts to make sure the shorts would fit around my hips. I'm not sure if these are designed for 'women' given the sizing (isn't there a store in the mall for tweens called 5-7-9!), but they work pretty well. There is a gap in the waist band on my backside. But I'm willing to deal with it because I like the material and the length so much. Here's hoping they are good to me in Costa Rica!

These boardshorts are a nice mid-thigh length and are stylishly plain. They do fit a little strangely, though. The combo of the straight cut and the slightly low rise make it hard to decide where these are supposed to sit on your hips, especially if you have any curves at all. Also, the snap closure is weak and pops open often if you're doing any active playing in the water. OK for wearing around the beach, but not ideal for swimming.
