Slimmer than its original predecessor, I was afraid my muscled calves (14.5 in.) wouldn't fit. To my pleasant surprise, these stylish chocolate wellies fit like a glove even with thick tights or leggings. Unless you have no developed muscles whatsoever, tucked-in jeans probably won't work. I normally wear an 8.5M, but the 8 fits great. The ankle area is narrower, too, but doesn't interfere with walking or taking them off. The subtle embossed pattern and tapered opening are similar to high-end fashion wellies, but with the Hunter name I know these will last much longer. Yes, I've had high-end wellies break apart like crackers after a couple of years. After a lot of wear, leather wipes will restore the shine. And compared to the prices of high-end fashion names, this is a great value.

Love! I am 5’9” and they are a nice tall height. I normally wear a 9.5 and the woman's 9 fits perfectly (was worried). Very stylish.

Great boots. I was a little nervous on spending this much for a rain boot but well worth the price. Quilting adds a bit of warmth so should be great in the snow, too. I liked this style because they are slimmer not big floppy boots and are not purely casual. I wear a 6 and purchased a 6 and sizing was fine.

This is my first pair of wellies and I love them. I wore them for a few days straight while on vacation where the weather was soggy and wet. After the first day, I realized there is no arch support or padding so I had to buy some Dr. Scholl's inserts so my heels and arches could get relief. Luckily that did the trick.

Love these boots! I bought them in bitter chocolate and couldn't be happier. They are stylish (the quilting makes them dressier than normal rain boots), functional and comfortable. Highly recommend! Like all Hunter boots, they have a slim fit. I normally wear a 9.5 and a 9 fit perfectly.

About Hunter
If you want a place where people appreciate the benefits of a well-fitting, waterproof boot, Scotland seems a natural choice. Mr. Henry Lee Norris most certainly thought so when he set up shop with his master boot makers back in 1856. Originally, Hunter rain boots were designed for traversing Scotland’s rugged terrain and combating its unpredictable weather. Since then, the reputation of Hunter men's rain boots, Hunter women's rain boots and Hunter children's rain boots for performance, durability and outstanding comfort has become legendary worldwide.
Although their links to the present day cover over 150 years and an awful lot of advancement, there are things about a pair of Hunter rain boots that Henry would still recognize: the care, the craftsmanship, and the refusal to compromise on quality.
The first of the famous Hunter green Wellingtons were seen back in 1956. Ever since, they’ve been mastering the art of welly making for children and adults, by using the best of new materials, introducing revolutionary technology and replying on good old fashioned hand craftsmanship. What sets Hunter rain boots apart from the competition lies in part to a closely guarded secret process. The result is a much stronger, watertight boot that will perform under the toughest conditions.
Hunter is equally proud of the things that have changed and the things that stay the same. The weather's just as wet and the Hunter rain boots are just as good! Today, Hunter remains the preferred welly brand for men, women and children who like to work hard and play hard. Wherever your pursuits may lie, be they in a distant wooded field or amidst the bustle of city streets, Hunter has the perfect footwear for keeping up with your unique lifestyle.

Love them! I got these because I couldn\'t find a flat, waterproof, tall boot that I liked and I have a pair of the regular Hunter Wellies. I love the style of these, with the quilting on top and the more narrow ankle area, as well as the more refined top. I wore these all over Europe and they were very comfortable with the quilted interior and comfortable foot bed. The only drawback is they seem to "breathe" less than the other wellies - perhaps because I was wearing jeans with them and they fit perfectly on top, not leaving much space for air to circulate. But, what can you expect from rubber? All in all, they are fantastic! Buy them small - I am a 7.5 and I use a 6 in the Hunter sizes.

These boots are fabulous! They look almost black but are actually dark green, which makes them more interesting and versatile. They look great with skirts and with pants (tucked in) and basically go with everything - really very stylish and cool. Love them! Sizing is right - I'm size 6/36 but always get boots in 7/37 Euro so they're a bit big. These boots seem to be a real 7 (maybe slightly bigger but not much). They are comfy, but it's the style they add to your outfits that rocks!

These are great! So fashionable! They don't look like rain boots at all. Perfect water resistant. I wear size 7 and 37 fits just right. My calf is on the big side, 14.5 inch. I worried these won't fit, but they fit fine. I don't expect to put my jeans in them, so the snug fit is good for me. Have to see how the shiny surface change over time.

Snug! Tight on the calves! But it's to be expected with this style - compared to their original styles, this particular boot is a little more urban and stylish, thus super snug on the calves. I'm almost 5'11" and have average sized calves - the length is good, could stand to be a wee-bit longer. The boot I received was more scuffed than sleek and the imprint a lot more subdued in person. Definitely not as shiny in person either. Most likely will return as I don't think they're worth the money if they already look shabby and I haven't worn them yet.

I typically wear a 7 and the 38 is perfect (despite the website's saying that a 38 correlates to a 7). The opening at the calves is a little snug -- I'm relatively small and don't have disproportionate legs, and there's little wiggle room -- but can still fit leggings or skinny jeans in with the right maneuvers. The boots look very elegant and put together, which is perfect for when you need rain gear but don't want to look like a slob. And the rubber seems much nicer than previous pairs of boots I've owned. I'm not at all worried about its drying out and cracking even with lots of use. I hope Hunter's reputation for quality is well-earned; I want to wear and own these boots for a long time to come!

I ABSOLUTELY love these boots! Now, I look forward to rainy days!!! I've received so many compliments on how these don't look like clunky rain boots but look so stylish. I can even wear these on sunny days :)

Love these rain boots! They're perfect for commuting to work in rainy weather. Different from the classic Hunter style rain boots and super cute. If you like being different, then you'll like these - comfy & looks great with casual clothes as well as work clothes. I love how flexible these boots are and how comfortable they are due to the cushion inside.

I really wanted the Kate Spade in black, but that said, decided to try this since my daughter has the original Hunters and love them. Some past reviewers are spot on in that the boots are not as shiny as shown. The "quilted" shaft is very lightly done, so it's not very nice. Also, the boot is very wide in the foot area as well as the calf area. The original Hunters fit more snug and have a better look and feel. Overall, they are okay, and if I hadn't already worn them I would return them.

The Regent Savoy is the most high end looking rain boot in the Hunter collection. Like most rain boots, it does not offer much arch support, but is still comfortable to walk in for hours at a time. The thin, quilted lining is enough to keep my toes warm when wearing a basic sock. Overall, a very stylish rain boot! I always receive positive comments when I wear my Hunter Regent Savoy boots!
