I love this "skinny" Hunter boot. I previously had a pair of classic Hunters that were huge in the calf and looked ridiculous. These are perfect for thin girls and have a cool slant to the top, and are glossy to boot! Love 'em.

Nice boots, but they run a size big. They are very roomy, sloshy, but I think they will be perfect for rainy days with my four year old - I\'ll be able to enjoy the puddles too! I am ordering the size smaller.

I just received these boots today and they are so chic; however, I have to send them back as they are not for petite women. I am 5' tall and they came up to the middle of my knee and were difficult to walk in. I'm giving them 5 stars because they would be perfect if only I were taller. The search for the perfect rain boot continues!

I love these rainboots. I've bought a couple other less expensive brands because I hadn't wanted to spend the money but then never wore them and ended up giving them away. I finally decided to get these and I love them. They fit great and look great. Note about size: I normally wear a 7 and had that sent to me. It fit but left little room for thick socks and it was narrow around the calf. I don't have big calves at all, very normal size, but I found the size 7 was a tight fit with jeans. I decided to exchange them for an 8 and couldn't be happier.

These are beautiful boots that do their job nicely. At the time of ordering them, I didn't realize that in NYC, when it rains, Hunter boots sprout like mushrooms. I can see why everyone has them -- comfy walking long distances, very waterproof etc -- but I was glad I spent the extra money on the Regents because no one has them. I do think these will be best for people with a slightly smaller calf, but I can still stuff a pair of jeans in them and get that very nice riding boot silhouette. They're warm, too, care of their neoprene lining. I adore them. They are definitely not as shiny as the image suggests.

Gorgeous, but too small so have to return. They can pass for casual or dressy. If you have large calves that part of the boot might fit too tight. I intend to order one size larger and hope they won\'t be too big.

These boots are so cool! I can wear these with skinny jeans, leggings or even a skirt. Just make sure to order the correct size. I am used to ordering 37 in shoes and didn\'t know I had to order 38 in these. Zappos was quick with the exchange! Also, if you have short legs like me (I am 5\'1), just know that these are going to hit the back of your knee funny.

After hearing a lot about how Hunters fit large, I ended up ordering my usual size and am glad I did. They are comfy and I have a bit of extra room for thicker socks on colder days. Love the cut and sleek look of the Regent.

Overall great boots! It's super lightweight and comfortable. At first I thought they were a little high, but now I've gotten used to them. They're also great for me because I have skinny calves.

I love the style of these boots. They are sleek enough to wear going out on a rainy night! Big enough for normal sized calves. They are worth the price because I know they will last forever. My only cautionary note is that if you have a high instep like me it can be tough to get your foot in the shoe.

I selected this style of Hunter boots because I wanted a slimmer rain boot instead of something really clunky and too roomy. These boots are really comfortable and more stylish than some of the other models. I was hesitant to buy them because they look very shiny in the photo, but they arrived as a normal black with only a slight sheen.

After reading the reviews about how Hunter's fit large, I ordered a size smaller (a 7 instead of my usual 8). I ended up having to return these and getting a size bigger. The boots are perfect and fit wonderfully. They are also more comfortable for walking as they fit my foot better than the Classic, they are not as loose around the foot and ankle without being too tight. If you're looking at these boots, order the size you usually wear and don't hesitate.

Love these boots. I am 5'10" and they are tall enough and not too wide around my skinny legs. With warm socks and insert they are warm and totally waterproof. Exactly what I was looking for and needed.

These boots are fantastic. A superb waterproof boot that not only gets the job done (namely, trudge through horrid New England weather and remain dry), but also looks fantastic. Function and fashion! I have worn these twice and already I have received dozens of compliments. Order your European size- if you're a half size, than order the next American size down. For example, I am usually a 6.5 us/36.5-37 Eur. I ordered the 37 Eur/6 US which fits perfectly.

Wanted to try a 'slim' version of Hunter's famous boots, but size 5 (which fits just right, normally wear 5.5-6 boots) is too slim for me. This size measures 13.5" around the calf, so it's okay with skinny jeans or leggings but not with regular straight leg jeans - they bunch up at the knees. At 5'2" height, it hits just around the knees, but not uncomfortable for walking. Sadly I think will exchange for their Classic boot.
