- The brand advises that a white wax film may appear on the surface of the rubber boots and that it can be wiped off with a damp cloth. This "blooming" effect is not a defect. Blooming is caused when the boots are exposed to extreme temperatures or temperature swings and the wax helps prevent the rubber from weathering.

Love them, love them, love them! Bought these for my 4-year-old and 2-year-old, and they're wonderful. Better than floppy and loose kids' rain boots, these really stay on for extended running and jumping, walking in the woods and playing in the mud. And they're as cute as I'd hoped. Exactly what I wanted.

I love my Wellies - The women's size 5 was a bit too long and wide in the calf so I went to this size which is perfect for me! The shoe fits perfectly; it is an unbelievably comfy boot with good support.

Wonderful Wellies! I think these wellies are great! They are comfortable and are well made. I normally wear women’s 5 or 5.5 and got a youth size 4. They fit perfectly and still allow me to wear wellie socks. They are better proportioned for petite women because of the shorter and smaller calf. The "dark purple" color is the equivalent to aubergine in adult sizes, in case anyone is wondering. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend these shoes to anyone. Now I just wish it would rain more!

The best rainboots ever! I am a very petite woman and have never been able to buy women’s rainboots. Kid’s rainboots usually are much shorter, so I was very happy to see these in a taller length. The size was the same that I have purchased in other brands. I bought both these in purple and the neo in navy to see which I liked better. If you live in a cold climate the neo would be better as it has a thick layer of neoprene inside. In my warm climate the Hunter serves much better. These are a little tight on my calves, but I found that they stretched to fit when I put jeans under them. Can't wait for colder weather!

Rain Boots - These boots are great with comfort sole. They also are great for mucking out horse stalls and just hosing them off makes it easy! Zappos is the best!

Best Wellies for my Little One - I have a pair of Hunters myself, and when it came time to buy some proper rain boots for my 2 year old there was really no other brand to choose IMO. They fit her well, don't come off her feet easily, have reflector tabs on the back of the boot (nice safety feature), come in myriad colors (we bought the lavender) & most of all, they keep her feet dry! Oh, and she loves her boots so much she wants to wear them ALL the time.

Great for adults too - Like some of the other reviewers, I'm a petite woman and found that the size and fit (and price!) of these boots worked perfectly. I usually wear a small women's 5 and got the 3 Youth. They're a tad tight but the 4 was too big (I think it would be perfect for 5.5 or 6). They're so comfortable and I've gotten compliments from complete strangers every time I've worn them out.

I love them - I bought a children's size because I am a petite adult and I didn't want them to be too tall. I usually wear an adult women's six and I bought a children's 5. They are a bit roomy but I wanted them to be that way. If you wanted a snug fit a 4 would be good. I just love them, I got the pink and they are very cute! I also got the welly socks to go with them which are very warm and are a cute addition to the boot. Zappos was amazing and I just love this company. Would buy from them anytime (:

Thank you - I ordered the shoes just 2 days ago, but I got them today! It was very quick. Thank you so much. I'm a petite woman. Usually I wear size 5, but woman size is too big for me. I ordered 3 youth. It's just my size. Also, I ordered welly socks for my Hunter boots. This is also a nice look!

Love these boots. They're comfortable, well-fitting, and waterproof. I ordered a youth size 4 based on the reviews from other customers who wear adult sizes 5-5 1/2. The boots arrived 2 days later, but the size 4 was too big so I returned them and ordered the size 3 boots. They arrived the following day and the size 3 fits perfectly. Thank goodness for Zappos’ free shipping. They even upgraded my orders to express shipping even though I did not request it. I even got credit on my initial order within 2 weeks. Zappos’ customer service is the best.

Very cute but no traction. My daughter was playing on a rainy day at a museum with water tables and a slippery floor and I thought she was lucky to be wearing there until she slipped and fell hard and ended up in the E.R. That is where I noticed the unisex sizing so her shoes are a bit large I guess which explains why she has not outgrown them in a year. The treads are pathetic. My son has had Hatley boots for a year as well. We bought his from a store at the mall and the sales people said they ran so big so we bought a size small. They are still comfortable after a year and an increase in street shoe size. I am replacing her boots because I feel they are dangerous because they have almost no traction. Think Crocs! They are very cute and stylish, look great after a year, have the wonderful reflective qualities but rain boots without good traction are just a safety hazard!

Bought these for my then 2 year old daughter last year and I can't get them off her feet! She loves them! They are her go-to shoes regardless of the weather. BUT they are awesome puddle jumpers!! Excellent quality! As I stated, my daughter wears them all the time, in the house and out and they look the same as when I first received them. I'm here at Zappos to buy a pair for my 1 yr old son and to get my daughter a 2nd pair as she's beginning to outgrow her current boots. I'm next on the list!!!! Highly recommend them!!!

So sweet. I also buy kids sizes for one: because they're cheaper and, two: the adult size is way too tall for me. I'm 5'1" and I have Juicy Couture rain boots which are adorable, but I cant wear them because of them being too tall. These fit perfect! Just at mid calf. I wear a size 7, but my foot is wide so I bought the kids size 6 (which is really an eight) and I have some room for socks.

I ordered these boots for my toddler even though I had never used them before or even seen them at a store. I bought them based solely on the reviews and we love them! My little girl doesn't want to take them off. They are highly recommended and very fashion forward. I bought the exact shoe size she is using and they fit perfect.

My daughter loves these boots! In fact, she loves them so much, we also got them in light purple. One tip - the Wellie Socks are great to wear with them. The only problem is that some of the socks are made better than others. So, just double check the socks when you first get them to make sure they fit correctly. Hope your kids have fun splashing in the puddles!
