Love these boots. I am a ladies 6 1/2, and I am 5'1", and these are a great fit for me. They come up almost to the knee, and are just slightly big, which is fine because I wear thick socks when it is cold. Very durable.

I am 5'1 and wear a ladies 5.5 or 6. I read reviews of other customers who bought the youth sizes and I bought a Youth size 4. I am so glad I made this purchase. There is no way I could have worn the ladies size because I have short legs. These are perfect! If you have this issue and really want a pair of Hunter boots, then go for it and order the youth size, plus you will save money.

I am 5'1 at 110 llbs. and wear a 5.5 adult size shoe. I ordered a Youth size 4 and found that they fit in the calf, but were too lose in the foot area, so when I walked, the boots fell down my calves unless I tucked in my jeans to make them tight around the calves. I am returning and will try a size 3. Also, the boots were not shiny at all--the tag says that the shine wears off after some ear and that you have to buff them back up with a cloth.

Great boots. They are not shiny as in the picture, but still very nice. Comfortable, and durable. I wear a woman's size 6 1/2 and ordered size 5 youth and fit perfect. Also I am petite (5) and the shaft is great for me (the adult version is too tall); they go up to a couple of inches under my knee. I wore them with skinny jeans and leggings and no problem. They get that white powder on them very often but just cleaning them with a cloth fixes it (not perfect but good). Overall I am really happy with my purchase and they will last forever.

I love these boots! I wear women's size 6 and ordered a size 4 in kids and they fit me perfect. I'm 5'2 and they hit me just below the knee.

I have had my eye on a pair of Hunter boots since last spring, but was unsure about the fit because I have very small feet. I ordered these boots in a youth size and LOVE THEM! They fit like a dream and are a fashionable choice for a yucky MN winter. If you happen to also have a small shoe size, give the youth sizes a try - they are considerably cheaper!

I was looking for a boot that my daughter could wear to school and in to the barn in the afternoon. They are perfect for both. I purchased the wellie socks as well because my daughter complained that her feet got cold when she spent to much time outside. She loves them. We will pass them on to her younger sibling. Well worth the money get the socks with them so the boots can be worn all year around. Great purchase!

Great boots--actually bought for my 19-year-old petite granddaughter, so I saved some money over the price for the same boots in adult size. We used the conversions to European sizes to determine which child's size, then got the nearest. They say this boot runs large, so I took that into account.

My 8.5 year old loves these boots. She wears them nearly every day, whether there is rain or not. We ordered the glossy but got the flat black. Since it was a Christmas gift. I didn't send them back as I didn't have time.

I bought these for my daughter and she loves them. The one problem that I noticed is the shiny coating is bubbly and coming off. I also have a pair and that did not happen to mine. I will be exchanging hers for another pair and we will try again.

I just got my black Hunter boots in the mail a day after I ordered them. Thanks Zappos. They are so cute! I got the glossy ones because I thought I could avoid the blooming effect with them but I was wrong. When I got them in the mail they were a little smudged already so I took a washcloth and cleaned them with all-purpose cleaner. It worked but you have to scrub really hard and it takes a long time. I'm usually a size 5 in kids but they were out of stock so I took the last 6 and I'm glad I did. They're roomy but still comfortable and I never want to grow out of them. Love 'em!

I highly recommend buying these if you are on the short side. I had heard that the women's boots would hit your knee so I avoided buying them. These do not hit my knee and look great with anything. I love these boots.

After reading many reviews, I was very pleased to purchase the youth size 5 boots. I am 5"3 and the youth boots hit about 2-3 inches below the knee. The adult sizes were to high for me. I regularly wear a 6.5 or 7 in woman's shoes. I tried both Youth 4 and 5 at a store and found that the youth 4 fits fine without the wellie sock and the size 5 fits better with the wellies and my own socks. I am able to tuck my pants into the boots with the size 5s. I was happy to purchase from Zappos in them in the black gloss color and on sale!
