I had a cheap grocery store mat, and I needed something better. I went to a yoga web site, and they were advertising these mats, and when I clicked on it, it took me to Zappos! I love that! Anyway, I chose the non organic, non plastic mat, and I'm not too thrilled with it. It's very slippery. It's very thick and comfortable, but you can't really do anything on it, as the minute it comes in contact with skin, you slide. I was going to return it, then I threw my old thin, cheap mat on top, and it works great. I recently saw a jute mat that is kinda sticky, and I wished I bought that instead, but this will work as long as I put something else on top.

I first thought this would be just a mat for its purpose of working-out on the floor, not! This mat felt so good to work out on. It feels as though there are layers of mats underneath. It evaporates your sweat, and shields your sweat from you!
