Wonderful product, but extremely low rise! I'm a 21 year old and I am all for looking sexy but these barely even covered anything. Going to return them and order 2 sizes up or so to see if that helps.

These jeans look nice, but if your leg is not super straight, they actually accentuates that weakness. I think the overall proportion was not well mastered during the design phase. The fit is tighter than that of the other brands for the same size. I normally wear a size 24 in premium denim, but was struggling to button up. The material has a little bit stretch to it, but is not as soft as I expected. As one other reviewer mentioned, the rise is very low. Overall, although nicely stylish, I would like the hem opening to be a bit smaller and the material a bit softer/stretchier. Maybe I will have better luck with 1 size up, but I'm very finicky about the feel of the material, so I will stop trying. If you like a regular denim feel, you will like them. Just be prepared to order a size up. The back flap pockets are extremely flattering. Won't pay this price for a mis-designed item like this.

I have been wearing this style for six years now. It's perfect for my curvy lower body -- the wide waistband with the double button and perfectly placed pockets combined with this latest dark wash slims my hips and legs and gives my butt some attention without being obnoxious. I've found that Hudsons feel small in my usual size 27 at first, but they do stretch! I bought a 28 once just to see if I was mistaken, but the 28s looked baggy after wearing them for one day so I exchanged them for a 27. The only downside to these pants is that they shrink. I always wash cold and hang dry, but somehow the cotton manages to shrink lengthwise. I get my jeans hemmed to floor-length in bare feet so I can wear them with flats and not worry about them getting ratty or wet. After one year with my most recent pair, they've shrunken to an inch off the floor in bare feet.
