The Hewlett-Packard Company, more commonly known as HP, is an American-based information technology corporation that specializes in notebooks, PCs, servers, printers, digital cameras and calculators. Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard, both Stanford electrical engineering graduates, founded HP in 1939 with an investment of $538 US dollars.
