Started out great, ending up disappointing. I thought I would love it, and it looked great. Inside is lined in red, so it's really a fabulous combination. Just a few months after receiving the purse, the bottom started 'wearing' out and looks as if it is years old. so embarrassing. Ick.

Have owned the red Lola bag for 3 months. Red color has rubbed off the bottom corners of the bag. Am sending bag to Hobo for repair/replacement. Love the bag's style & general quality but disappointed by lack of color durability.

This is truly the perfect "little black bag." Well I got mine in black anyway. I am considering also getting this color now. It is just the right size to fit essentials, while still showing off your hour-glass figure, or at least revealing that you do in fact have a waist. Larger bags hide a woman's figure when on her arm, but not this bag. And the leather is very good quality, as is the zipper. The thing I found the most surprisingly delightful about this bag is that the key holder is a hook, so while the keys will stay put unless you turn your bag upside down, they are quick to get out when you're ready to use them. That is a big step up from the clip key holders you have to squeeze to release, or I guess leave toggled to your bag while you try to hold the whole thing up to unlock something. A lot of thought went into making this bag, and it shows in every detail. The bag sits on the shoulder differently depending on how you face it. On mine the bag stays on my shoulder great if I face the stitch side out, but needs to be held up if I face the smooth side out. I don't consider that a flaw, though you might.

Love this bag. Color could be a shade darker of red for me, but otherwise the perfect shape and size. I am 5'10" and it hangs perfectly from my shoulder without being too wide to be comfortable. FYI, the straps are always straight up, unlike one of the pictures that show the straps falling over to the side. It only has one zipper pocket inside and one flat open pocket beneath. It would be nice to have a dedicated cell phone pocket. My first Hobo, but not my last!

I own three of these bags. One in black, one in rouge, and one in tmoro. I love the simple, classic style. The leather is beautiful. These bags are extremely well made. Hobo International is my favorite brand of handbags. I have only good things to say about them. I also love Zappos. They're my first choice when shopping for a new handbag. Just can't beat the fast, free shipping. Their customer service is excellent. I've never been disappointed and I've ordered from them many times.

I have this bag in black and in stone and it has proven to be an incredibly functional size and style. This purse holds all my essentials and has worn very well for me with daily use. I expect I\'ll always have at least one of these as part of a useful group of purses. I give it 4 stars for comfort only because one of the two straps tends to fall off my shoulder if there is not enough weight in the bag....I usually have to cross the straps to prevent this.

I needed an everyday brown leather handbag to replace an old one. The Lola had clean lines and classic styling at a great price.With minimal adornment, except a removable leather tag saying Hobo International in tiny letters, it looks great both day and evening. Inside, a zipped pocket holds necessities, and a mobile phone pocket is roomy enough for an iPhone and a pen. Despite how small it looks on the outside, it fits a water bottle, wallet, keys, phone, and lipstick just fine. Only con? The stiff leather of the straps dig into your shoulder a little bit, but I suspect that will soften with time and use. Very glad I bought this bag!

I love this bag. It is the perfect size. You can carry it or put it over your shoulder. I have it in red which I love because it seems to go with everything and plus I use it for every season. It is the best purse I ever had. I need to buy another one. The zipper is finally going on mine. I think it is about 4 years old. It held up very well.

I have nothing negative to say about this bag. It's the perfect size for me. I am 5'2", so size matters. This bag holds everything I need it to: cell phone, checkbook, coin purse, camera, powder/compact, business cards, emergency makeup bag, gum...but I digress. I thought I wanted the red, but had no idea how much the teal would be exactly what I needed! You will not be unhappy with your purchase of Hobo bags.

This is a great everyday bag! I love the clean, simple lines that Hobo International is known for. It's a good size. It's not too large, which many bags are these days. The style is simple but classic and the craftsmanship is excellent. I want one in every color!

This is a perfect size if you're looking for something big enough to fit everything personal you need, but not so big that it takes you forever to find anything in it. (I've got a wallet, cell, blackberry, glasses case, keys, pens, a few makeup items, transit pass, and random receipts/lip gloss/etc., and it still zips up for safety during my commute.) I've had other larger Hobo purses, but was looking for a smaller one that I could use with a briefcase. I took a chance with the red color and am so glad I did - I get compliments all the time. Now I'm saving up for another color! (Note: If you have really long forearms or a thick coat, it might be a little awkward to pull it onto your shoulder with the same hand after holding just the straps. But I love the short style - keeps it safer right under your arm.)

Ladylike, But Never Stuffy - GREAT bag for those times when a slim wallet, keys, and one or two other items are all that's needed. Beautiful leather, wonderful contrast lining, outstanding workmanship. I want more Hobo!
