Great size, substantial enough to support the two water bottles and carry some gear, a light layer, or small lunch, but overall it's compact and comfortable. Great alternative to a day pack, which is less comfortable for me. The orange color is super cute.

I ordered this pack to replace a lumbar pack (different brand) that I'd been using for about 20 years. One of the main zippers finally broke. My old pack, which I loved, is no longer made. The position of the water bottles is awkward on the High Sierra Diplomat, and it's definitely not suitable for trail running (everything will bounce). I was unable to adjust the pack so as to carry the load in a comfortable way. But, most disappointing is that one of the compression straps broke after one month of use. Zappos has agreed to replace it (I'm going to try a different brand), and I hope the new one will work better for me.

Very nice little pack. I got this to put my phone and dog walking stuff in. Works great.

I have been hunting for a couple of years for a new waist pack. I am short and wanted one that wouldn't overwhelm me, but still carry everything. I have only used this one a couple of times but have been well pleased. I don't like the included water bottles, but others fit just fine and the placement of them is comfortable and well balanced.This was a good choice for me and looks to last a long time. Zappos is a fantastic and reliable vendor.

This backpack is so colorful. My 12-year old daughter loved it from the first time she saw it.

Lots of easy access space in this lightweight and durable carry-on bag. When fully expanded, volumes of space - but then it's no longer carry-on. Delighted I bought it and hope to make good use of it for years to come.

Needed a new back pack, I use it like a purse. This is very sturdy and well built. Almost too many compartments. I love the color and take it everywhere. Back straps are padded and very comfortable. Use it to put clothes in when traveling to west coast as well. a great product all around. I know it will last years, quality back pack.

It's a good sturdy bag. Fits everything I need but not too bulky. The straps were a bit awkward at first but it serves its purpose. Not as good as my Adidas backpack but I don't regret the purchase.

This back pack is for my high school girl. She has two large textbooks and two large notebooks that she carries everyday. Even with that heavy load she has no problems lugging it around because of the very nice shoulder straps and padded back. This a very roomy bag and well thought out pockets.

My daughter is a counselor serving a low-income client base and carries a heavy load both literally and emotionally. She wanted a cheerful tote to transport books and paperwork and loves this one I got her as a Christmas gift. Also, I love Zappo's amazing customer service! Always a pleasure to order here. Great backpack! Love the print! Using it for college - with lots of books to carry across a huge campus. It's really nice, roomy, and comfy! Only downside is the laptop compartment is connected to the main compartment so there wasn't really a need for an extra zipper at the top.

This is the third Access Backpack I have purchased - one for myself and one each for my son and daughter, who are college students. The quality of the bag is excellent, and the roominess is much appreciated. On a daily basis, I use it to carry my laptop, running shoes, headphones, and lots of other stuff. I really like the side zippered pocket, which I use for my wallet. I don't even carry a purse any longer. The attached rain hood is handy - I've had to use it on occasion and everything in the bag stayed dry. I highly recommend this product.

The backpack has great space and compartments, but quality-wise, it wasn't made very well. I've had it less than 2 years and the shoulder strap stitching ripped apart so the foam inside is totally exposed. The stitching on both waterbottle holders also ripped away from the elastic. I lost multiple waterbottles and travel mugs (before the pockets ripped) because the pockets are a little too small so the waterbottles just slide out. I am not a high "wear and tear" user, so was surprised at how quickly things started falling apart on the backpack. It's comfortable for both walking and commuting via bike, but I would not buy this one again because of how quickly it fell apart.

I got this backpack for my 11 year old daughter for Christmas and she loved it! It holds everything and is very light. The color is great too!

Great value for the price! My boyfriend and I both have this bag and we take it with us every time we ski. It's thin but durable and very lightweight. It keeps our boots from getting the car messy and the center compartment is super large for our extra layers and gear.

Nice backpack with lots of room and many compartments. Fits a 15-inch laptop easily, not sure if a 17-inch would fit unless it was super-slim. Unfortunately, the pack is too large for my frame and does fit well. If it was just 15% smaller, I think I could keep it.

I purchased this specifically to carry my computer, and really wasn't hoping for much more than a bag large enough to carry it along with the wires and accessories. However, the bag exceeded my expectations and then some! It's very comfortable to carry, and the pocket design allows for quick and easy access to items you need right away. It's nice and sturdy, and I think it will last me many years to come.

I don't have this one yet, but I did have it's predecessor. It got me all the way through middle school, until someone stole it out of my truck. Left it unlocked apparently... But now I'm looking to get the exact same one because of how well it worked for me.
