I practically live in Helle comfort shoes because of the removable foot bed and adjustable straps. However, I had to return these as they were too wide across the meddle of the shoe even with all straps tightened and my orthodics inserted.

This shoe is cute! Loved it. A lot of style. Unfortunately I pronate and my heel would slip off the edge so they had to go back. Made me very sad!

These sandals are so comfortable for me that I am going to order a pair in brown. I have tried closed toe Helle Comfort shoes but they do not fit the way these do. The arch support in these sandals is perfect for me.

I saw these shoes and thought they were so cute -- had to have them. The problem I didn't realize with the Helle style is that the top strap sits a bit too high on my foot, across the lower half of my toes, so that with each step I feel pressure on my toes. With the shoes not yet being "worn in," the edge of the strap felt very firm, as if it may cut or blister my skin. Still walking around the house to see if I can get used to it. Additionally, the "removable footbed" sounds like the greatest idea, but when you remove their footbed (cleverly held in place at front and back with velcro), you also remove the cork footbed. I have tried many of my orthotics, but have not yet found the ones of the correct height to make these shoes feel as they should-also, the orthotic would have to be grey or black since it is a sandal and its edges will show... And if you wear an "8," you will need a 39.
I'd also recommend: Naot, Birkenstock
