I found this pump to be so comfortable and not "old lady " looking! The leather is very soft, and it had plenty of toe room. It wouldn't work for narrows probably. But seemed roomy enough for someone like me to maybe someone with a little wider foot. Cushioning felt great!

I purchased the eggplant Brea. The right shoe fit well and seemed as though it would be comfortable. To my surprise, the left shoe (usually the better fit because the left foot typically is a tad smaller than the right foot) was tight. Uon examination, the vamp on the left shoe was cut perceptibly higher and had a lower toe box than the right shoe (even my 88 year old Mom noticed the difference). I wonder whether this pair was a second. This is the second pair of shoes in two orders that had a perceptible structural difference between the left and right shoe (French Sole rejoice). Otherwise, attractive shoe and eggplant is a lovely color. Hate to return but just too weird to wear two different shoes.

I found that these shoes ran large. I normally wear a size 5 (36) but these turned out to be at least one size too big for my feet. I tried a size 4.5 (35) and the left shoe was about right, but the right shoe was still too big. I'll have to return them, which is a shame because they are quite pretty and with the padding they would be quite comfortable (if they had fit properly).
