My 4 year old wears a size 7. This jacket was perfect for him. It was still cute, yet not so "grown." I would definitely recommend it!

We had a cute Hatley raincoat that was now too small. I thought first of Hatley again, when deciding to replace it. The patterns are adorable, and I like that they are lined with a terry material. It adds a bit of warmth, but not too much. We are in California, so it doesn't get super cold except for 4 weeks a year, or so. I tend to layer my son's clothing. The fit is nice and he never complains he is too warm (or cold). Sleeves are a tad long, but we just roll them up. We also have the matching boots. I think Hatley does a great job with these each year, and you can't beat Zappos for fast shipping and easy returns if needed.
