These are OK boots. They are very stylish but the calf is not 17" in circumference. I have a 16" calf and these were skin tight on me. Neither is the shaft 16½" tall. These boots are meant to be over-the-knee but the top came to just below my knee and I am only 5'5".

I love these boots. They look and feel extremely well made. I have large calves (about 17 inches) and have a difficult time finding tall boots to fit comfortably. These fit perfect with skinny jeans. I ended up needing a half-size smaller than I usually wear because the shoe felt too big in my normal size.

Just received my boots and love them. A little wide in the calf, which for me is a miracle. I have very athletic legs. The HD sign is very discreet not like in the picture. A boot you can dress up or down. So happy with the purchase.

These boots fit the bill for an athletic calf. The opening in the back and elastic gore make the boots streamlined but comfy. The quality of the leather is outstanding, and the HD logo is subtle. The ankles rubbed a bit on the first wearing, but it was fun for a teacher to feel this bad at school.

Finally I found a pair of tall boots to fit my calves. They are soft and comfortable. I wore them 10 hours straight the first day, heaven. Way to go Harley Davidson! But they do run 1/2 large, I ordered a 1/2 size down.

Great boot! I have athletic calves and have a difficult time buying boots. The 17" circumference was true for my leg. I was a bit nervous about wearing these boots for the first time on a trip to San Francisco where I would be walking -- a lot! Not only did the boots feel great, but I got a ton of compliments in San Fran. My style is a bit classic, and these boots looked great. They are really well made and the leather is beautiful. I can't believe what I paid -- feel like they should have been double that price.
