Very cool boots! I wanted some "booties" for the winter. My style is very jeans casual and I usually only wear flat comfort shoes (Keen, Ecco) but wanted something with a heel for a change. Most heeled booties seem to have spiky heels and pointy toes so these Cassidys are a good compromise--sturdy heel, not too high and super cool looking. I ordered 1/2 size up (I have orthotics and a bunion and needed extra room) and they are perfect. (I am over 50 and like to wear something "young" but not too impractical!) Caveat - I haven't worn them out walking a lot yet, and since I don't wear heels much I know it will take some getting used to, so I don't know the comfort level if you are on your feet a lot. A great casual boot for blue jeans or a step up with black jeans or a skirt, with that added "edgy" factor. I loved the boots so much I got a black leather jacket to match. As always Zappos is great - love the FAST service and free returns - with shoes you never know how a size/style will fit your feet. I am very resistive to paying shipping and especially return shipping and/or going through the trouble of schlepping something back to a store or packing it to return (usually within a e.g. 30 day time period), but Zappos eliminates all the hassle. Thanks for another pair of great shoes!

These boots are deeply awesome. They provide the biker-engineer boot vibe in style that is dressy enough to wear to an office. I now have something to give a slightly subversive feel to my classic long skirt-turtleneck-boots look. And of course, they will also be wonderful with dress pants or jeans. They have a solid, but not clumpy heel, a classy slightly rounded toe and the construction is top-notch. Women looking for dress boots should look at Harley-Davidson more often - they are superb boots that will last at an excellent price. And a word about Zappos - I ordered them at 8:41 in the evening on Thanksgiving night and I had them by 1:30 the following day! I couldn't believe it! Always amazing service, but this was beyond my expectations. Zappos rules!

Great look, but uncomfortable - I love the look of these boots, but, so far, they have been very uncomfortable on my feet. They are rather narrow and tight. I've only worn them about three or four times, so I'm hoping they just need to be broken in a bit.

What a great boot - I just love my new boots. Not only are they comfortable but they look fantastic, too. The leather is very durable, not flimsy. They really hold up over time and look brand new with every polish. They're a great value for the dollar.
