This backpack's straps are so stiff and hard that they actually bruise me when I use it. Simply putting the bag on/off my arms bruised me after a long weekend of travel. The straps feel like they have some kind of super-stiff plastic insert or something. I don't know why they designed them to be so hard! It's unfortunate, because this backpack has so many great things about it. The stretchy external pockets really do hold things securely. There's plenty of space in the organizer pocket and a "quick access" zipper pocket on the front. The laptop sleeve is very padded, and I have no doubt that it is secure. I took the backpack through several different airports over the course of a single multi-leg trip, and it was so easy to go through the checkpoints with it. Aside from the stiff straps, the only other issue I found with it is that it is designed such that the laptop section really only holds a laptop. It's a little counter-intuitive, but once you realize that, it's easy to see that you can load up the organizer section instead. This design maintains the "butterfly" intent for TSA purposes. Oh, and I love the quote on the outside. It's really a shame. I wish I could keep this bag, but I'm going to have to return it because of the strap stiffness.

I would purchase this bag as I am generally a fan of RUMI but I do not like that I cannot read the quote and even in the video the demonstrator says "you can read it when you get it." It is too bad, because it is really beautiful.

If you click 'larger image and additional views' and zoom in, in it quite easy to read the quote, friend, our closeness is this: anywhere you put your foot, feel me in the firmness under you. I don't yet own the bag, but I think the quote IS beautiful and the bag might be what I'm looking for to carry my Macbook... hopefully I'll get it soon and leave an actual review.
