I like this bag. The exterior pocket is handy, and there are two interior pockets that allow for organization. It can hold quite a bit of "stuff" without being huge, but also looks okay if I only have a few things in it. The quality is great.

Liked the matching purse much better. This wallet is a little bulky, and I can never remember which way to open the coin purse side vs the bill/credit card side. The coin purse area should have been made with a zipper closure instead of a snap to make it work better and be less confusing. \r\nIt does match the purse perfectly, though, and I am using it in spite of not being in love with it.

This is a great purse. I like all of the pockets, especially the two exterior front pockets so I have easy access to cell phone and keys. With the interior pockets I can easily find my checkbook, billfold and mp3. It has enough room for a book and my thermos of tea but not too big, and the wide strap is comfortable when I am running errands on my bicycle. I like the bamboo color, but I wish the strap was the same color as the pockets.

This bag might be okay for some, but only as a shoulder bag. If you want to use it without the shoulder strap, you can't, the strap's not detachable (which surprised me). With the strap tucked inside the bag, you can't get papers in and out easily. When the strap hangs outside, the handle at the top leans to one side, making the bag difficult to carry or to position on a hard surface (floor, table). The bag is also bulkier and heavier than it appears on the Zappos page. Carrying papers is heavy enough without a heavy bag adding to the load. Since I wanted a bag I could carry by the handle, I'm returning this one and downgrading my review because of what I feel is poor design.

This is a great bag. I use it for school and work. It holds a lot and is comfortable to carry. I was using another bag that was painful to carry around, which is why I purchased this one. It has a computer sleeve and a lot of pockets to put stuff in. It also can get wet and still looks great!

Love the bag with one exception - the straps are very slippery and fall right off my shoulder. I wish they had some grippy rubbery stuff on them to prevent slippage. Other than that, think the bag looks great and think it has just the right amount of pockets, etc.

Great purse! I was pleasantly surprised by the interior, which doesn\'t show well in the photos. It is roomy, although the zipper on top prevents it from holding a large notebook. The exterior zipper pockets on the front and back hold their contents securely. Beautifully stylish, and the burgundy color is lovely.

I'm really happy with this bag and have received numerous compliments since buying it. People have mentioned the faux-leather detailing and the branch design as well as the colors. I debated between getting this one and the Timbuk2 Aeon. I made my decision solely on what I saw online. I decided on this one because it was more feminine and "professional" in my opinion than the Aeon, the colors were better and I preferred the fact that this one had a flap protecting the inside contents instead of just a zipper. It easily fits my 13" laptop easily; if you have anything larger, you may want to see if you can physically fit the laptop in. One tiny complaint is that it is slightly bigger than I expected it to be, but that's okay because I frequently have to carry a lot of stuff back and forth to work. The fact that it doesn't close using a zipper means that it's easier to "overstuff" it if need be. It is also a bit "heavy", but no more than an average laptop bag might be. All in all, I'm happy with my Zappos purchase 100%.

For the first time in my life I am staying organized. I keep a lot of stuff in my purse and there is a perfect place for each item, I don't just have a big jumbled mess like I have had in every purse until now. Anyone who says they can't fit all their stuff in it just has too much stuff. Honestly I could cram a lot more stuff into this bag than I do. I keep my wallet and umbrella in the main pocket, my kindle in the big slot next to the main pocket, makeup/girl stuff in the inner zipper pocket, my inhaler, cell phone, and mp3 accessories in one of the small pockets, and a notepad & pens in the other small pocket. The flap closes securely with clasp to protect your electronics; this is a feature I really appreciate. There is a large flat zipper compartment on the outside that is very convenient for a small amount of paperwork (itinerary for the airplane, checks to take to the bank, etc). I use one of the water bottle pockets for my sigg 600 ml bottle and the other one for my sunglasses and keys. This purse is rugged, comfortable, and stylish. The bag is a little stiff at first until you break it in, but this is just an indication of its structural integrity, this bag is going to stand up to the test of time. A thoughtful and beautiful bag by Haiku.

Fun design. When strap worn cross body makes shopping easier since you don\'t have to keep hitching purse up on shoulder. Good size, holds everything needed.

Love my new Haiku Bag! I have several Coach Bags and enjoy all of them. However, the Haiku is wonderful; lightweight, roomy, great color combo and very stylish. It can go anywhere I do, dressed up or down. The fact that it is so earth friendly, user friendly is an advantage. Being able to cross over shoulders (or same) is another plus. It is secure and I feel good wearing it! Someday I'll get the matching wallet (or not matching!).

The best anniversary gift ever! This bag is great, has lots of room, keeps you well organized and cleans up really well when sticky little fingers touch it. I love the colors and the design. Only thing is I wish the strap was a little more padded. It was a surprise anniversary gift, but I'll probably get another bag if this ever wears out.

Love this bag. I am a teacher and it holds my laptop and papers. Strap doesn't look as blue as in picture; it's a more neutral lavender/beige color. Tough and attractive. My only complaint is that I never do the clasps at the bottom, so they kind of flap around. Not enough for me to care though. Great bag.

I really like this bag. Pros: plenty of pockets to store keys, sunglasses, cell phone plus lots of other stuff. Really cute. Cons: shoulder strap doesn\\\'t stay on your shoulder. The pockets on the outside are described as big enough for a bottle of water; I can\\\'t find a bottle of water that fits inside these pockets. Overall, I really like it.

This bag is really cute. The design is quite different than other bags out there. I like the fact that it has many compartments that are roomy, and not so tight and tiny like some bags that you can only fit two bobby pins! The material is different, like a suede "pleather". Be beware, with all those pockets, you can tend to put too much stuff in your bag, and make it weigh over 20 lbs! Overall, great bag for travel, student, or someone who likes to compartmentalize their stuff. The side "water bottle" holders are the best.

This purse was a bit smaller than I had expected. It doesn't quite fit a copy of the newspaper (and I commute every day and need a purse that can fit a folded up newspaper). However, it is well organized, with a roomy back pocket for my wallet and keys and 2 front pockets big enough for my cell phone and bus/building passes. The interior is lined in green so there are no black hole issues here. Strap length is long enough to wear messenger style (and I'm 5'9") though I do wish the strap color was the same color as the bag. There is one large pocket inside which closes with velcro; it would fit diapers and wipes if you are looking for a "mom purse." The branch motif is actually cute without being cutesy and perfect for fall. The only issue I have with the bag (aside from it being 1 inch too small in terms of width) is the Haiku branding is everywhere. It is on all of the zipper pulls plus the side of the bag (each zipper has a bright rubber Haiku pull attached to it). All of the branding (plus light strap) sort of make this bag more casual and less appropriate for work. Overall though, a nice purse if you don't like the boxier Haiku styles (I don't).

I bought this bag in chocolate and it's beautiful! I love the organization and the fact that it is a zip top, rather than a messenger type bag that has a flap on it. The material is sturdy and well made. I love the colors as well. My one complaint would be size; I wish it were bigger. If you are getting this as a work bag, as I was, it won't do the trick; it is more like a well organized purse. I am keeping it because I do like it, but it won't work for what I initially purchased it for.

I like my Haiku bag. It is very stylish and wide. I do not like where the handle is because when you pick it up from the handle the bag leans forward. My laptop doesn't fit in the lap top sleeve that is located inside the bag.

I love this functional, sturdy, and stylish messenger-style bag! The external water-bottle pockets fit "Kleen Kanteen" water bottles, or they are handy for other things (I keep a small umbrella in one). The two pockets under the main flap are great for your camera, cell phone, MP3 player, or other items you want to access quickly without worrying they'll fall out. The main compartment is big enough for a magazine or small notebook, but not big enough for file folders, so this works better as a purse than as a briefcase or work-bag. The material is tough and waterproof, so your stuff (and your bag) won't get ruined if it rains. And the embellishments and overall design attract lots of compliments: this is a functional bag that also looks great. The only thing I don't like is the main flap closure. Because the buckle is under the flap, it is awkward to un- or re-buckle, and this makes things clumsy if you're trying to access your bag with one hand. Otherwise, the adjustable strap makes for a comfortable "hands free" fit whether you're walking around the block or taking a walk in the woods. If you want a tough and roomy bag that's still stylish, this is the bag for you.

I really like my Haiku bag. It is roomy enough to hold all of my stuff (checkbook, cell phone, glasses, wallet, pens, hand lotion) but still on the small side. I specifically bought it because I was going on vacation and wanted something with a shoulder strap that was not an overwhelming size and was sturdy. The Haiku bag really fit the bill. It is also cute, with an earthy, hippie vibe and I love the bright green interior!

Awesome purse, goes with lots of outfits; 3 outside pockets, perfect for keys, cell, cash. Adjustable strap, perfect cross body, most stuff wipes off clean. Would rather it be leather though; overall great purse, especially for moms trying to be a little hip!

A beautiful bag, but... This bag is beautiful, well made, great quality, but it does not fit my 15" laptop. The laptop sleeve is about 13 - 14". Unfortunately, it has to go back.

I\'ve been trying to downsize my purse, so i bought the Haiku Escape Bag. I like the collage look and the olive color. It\'s a good size. It holds all the essentials with room for a bit more.\r\n\r\nPerhaps it would work better a little wider and a little less deep, however. Also I\'m not crazy about the bright lime strap - if it were a color similar to the bag I\'d like it better. But basically I\'m very happy with it and now it\'s my everyday bag.
