I love this purse! I prefer small purses (usually a couple inches shorter than this), but they won't hold everything I often need. I tried the Haiku Dash, which is OK for just the bare minimal stuff, but not adequately sized for the everyday things I prefer to take with me most of the time. This fits that bill. Here's what I can fit in it: a bifold wallet (with coin purse), a pocket camera, two 3.5 x 6" notebooks, pens, a tiny makeup kit (lipstick, mirror, comb, finger nail file, & glasses cleaning cloth), a full business card case, an id holder, and house and car keys. PLUS my 6" long phone fits perfectly in the back side zippered pocket--even in its protective case--and is very handy to access there. I can also put a Kindle and a small tablet in it. I think I could even squeeze a Go-Pro and/or a small watercolor kit in here (though maybe without the Kindle and tablet). :) It does get heavy, though, but that's the stuff, not the purse. It looks great for a cloth purse. I do wish they'd make better looking straps out of material more closely resembling the purse material, though. I'm not fond of the slippery thin strap material, though I do think it will prove to be strong enough. It fits well across my body, too, and the straps are adjustable, and even removable. It does to seem to have quite a lot of pockets, but I find them convenient rather than a waste of material. For instance, there's a nice velcro-closing inside pocket that's perfect for receipts and such. YMMV, of course, but for all the reasons listed above, this is my new go-to purse.

I really wanted to like this bag, but two things stuck out. As other users have said it's actually a little on the small side, especially for carrying an iPad sized tablet. Also, the effort to convert from crossbody to backpack was pretty substantial, and one of the clips was quite hard to undo. I wanted to love it! We didn't make it.

Best tote ever. Lots of room, very light weight, light blue interior makes it easy to see your items inside. Love this tote!

I like this bag a lot. First I bought the one that I thought was red but it was more a melon color so I got the black one instead. The bag seems sturdy and has all the compartments I need. One of the side zipper compartments is perfect for my phone. It comes with a short strap and a long strap. If you want to use the long strap you have to attach it to the short strap. That was too much strap for me so I just cut off the short one.

Overall this bag is great, has enough room for a change of clothes, towel, and sneakers. The handles are fine to carry in your hand, but awkward when worn over your shoulder because the bag is wide. The interior and exterior pockets are useful, I use the small front one for my gym lock. I don't usually use the shoe pocket since I use a separate show bag. However, it works fine if you put both shoes in together.

Great little clutch! I'm impressed with all the organization that this little bag has. Pleasantly surprised to see that what I thought were hot pink zipper accents on the black were a deeper shade of pink/purple in person, much more my style. Also love the bright blue on the inside. It's classy yet fun. This is my second purchase from this brand and I love their products!

This is a great bag except for the strap. It has a place for everything. The strap is flimsy, doesn't stay tightened in place and keeps twisting around. You can't replace it because it's stitched to the bag on one end. Except, for the step it's a great bag. There's a place for your phone that's easily accessible...same thing for your iPad mini (not sure about a regular iPad). Also the small zippered compartment in front is great for your key car fob that you don't need to access all the time but easy to find for valet when you need it.

I just received the bag so haven't gotten a chance to "break it in", but it seems to be solid and would hold up well, whether traveling by car, train or plane. I bought mine in cranberry and the color is great! I like the separate pocket for shoes or other items. I can't wait to try it out!

I love this little bag. I've used it for both a baptism and wedding. It holds alot for a little bag: cell phone, reading glasses, compact, lipstick, keys, sunglasses, comb, money, credit cards. I used the wrist strap twice and now that my 2 events are over, I'm going to start using it as a cross body with the shoulder straps on a more regular basis. I'm a plus size gal and the strips are extra long which I appreciate. I bought the canyon color, it was such a pretty change of pace from black all the time. Highly recommend. I'm also a big fan of the Haiku line and have a few messenger bags that I bought years ago. Good quality brand.

Room for everything! No need to dig for lost items, bag has many compartments to help keep you organized. Only "complaint" is I wish the I could shorten the strap more for shoulder carry; works great for cross chest carry or backpack.

I love this bag! Just the right size! I can grab it and go or throw it in my bigger purse. Love the fabric and embroidery! I like the strap options also.

I have been looking for a cross-body messenger bag style purse for some time. When I saw this one, it seemed to be perfect. I ordered it on a Sunday, and it arrived on Tuesday without expedited delivery charges. (Yay Zappos!) I debated about the color since I wear a lot of black and finally decided a splash of color would be good for me. I love the bag. It is very light weight which is helpful when filling it up with all the "stuff" I end up carrying. I love the texture. You wouldn't know it was made of recycled plastic bottles. The colors are striking. It has lots and lots of pockets which is a good thing but could be a bad thing if you forget where you put something. The construction is beautiful. The one negative to this bag is what other reviewers have pointed out...the pocket made for an iPad isn't big enough with or without a case. It's a shame, because they made a lovely pocket for one, but it just doesn't fit. A smaller tablet would be fine however. This wasn't important enough to me to return the bag, but if you carry your iPad with you all the time and are counting on it fitting in this bag, you will be disappointed.

Cute little fun bag. Perfect for a run to the store or a night out. Love the short handle or cross body options and the blue interior makes me smile every time I open the bag! Well constructed and magnet closure, which I normally don't like, is strong with no problems staying closed so far.

I've been through many gym bags, and this is by far the most functional. I practice yoga daily and to have a bag with many compartments and a place to hold a yoga mat is key.

Hello, new favorite bag. I bought this for a practical everyday-carry that would also work for travel. So far it's working brilliantly for everyday use. The front flap pockets are a little odd at first, but I filled the organizer with small, light items (mint tin full of pills, chapsticks, etc). The design is pretty well thought-out, and the construction seems very sturdy. The logo is very minimal, which is a huge plus for me. I'm thinking it should work nicely for travel as well; the top zip makes it a good carry-on choice, and I can add a few pieces of hardware to make it a bit more resistant to pickpockets -- a double clasp to keep the top zipper shut and maybe a clippy lanyard attached to the center back loop that I can hook onto my belt loop. Overall, a very solid, practical bag that should see plenty of use!

I like this bag. It is very practical - has great room with lots of pockets. It is a little heavier/bulkier than I was expecting but well made, too. I got the matching wallet (wristlet?) to go with it and am looking forward to using them together. I have a trip coming up and like that you can transform it into a backpack.

I am liking my new purse very much. Bigger than I normally use but great cause I never have to squeeze things in. One of the Velcro's came off but I'm kind of glad it was hard to open with it anyway so all good, quality is great!

This bag is kind of awkward to use. It's a little stiff and getting in and out of the front pockets is a little hard. The shoe compartment is awesome but takes up a lot of space inside the bag so it's smaller than you think. It's also not super comfy to carry, but that might just be the style of bag.

This bag is great. It's a little larger than I normally use for an everyday purse, but will be great for traveling. Can easily hold a wallet, sunglasses case, large camera, guidebook/tablet and more. the crossbody strap that converts to a backpack makes it really versatile. Convenient pockets and zippers to keep things organized and safe.
